    Greenergia

Yeah I am debating this.. I have a generic controller now so I can't modify it at all so even a better controller and screen to program it might help the motor perform better on hill etc. I fell like my current controller just has one speed.. I have also thought about upgrading to 1000w motor...

    Greenergia

That's most likely why I am getting all hung up here. port might look the same but its not! Looks like the EggRidder v2 will support a Befang controller setup which it looks like the Greenergia is trying to mimic. Ill confirm with them though.

    Greenergia

No my motor uses the Bafang style smaller 500w the one that is larger seems to only be for 750w+. So wait Greenergia uses Bafang displays? well that's fine I like the Bafang displays it just looked like the same julet plug on both. I know that does not mean they are compatible

    Greenergia

Has anyone had much experience with the Greenergia controllers? https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B088KJFZN7, I am looking at the 48V500W22Ah model and it looks like it works with all my existing connectors and I am looking to pair it with a KT-LCD8S. It will work with my Higo motor plug also

    Changing to off road mode

To Add to that 500w(rated) means the company rates it at 500w.. I have seen 1000w motors rated at 500w because that's what the company wanted to rate it at to make it conform to standards. My iGo is 500W rated and I see the screen read 1700w at points when going up a hill for like 2 minutes. A...

    Changing to off road mode

Yeah no kidding, believe it or not I am using my FatTire bike to still commute on some days if the roads are clear. I get on my snowboarding outfit and love biking in the snow! But you are right selling one with snow on the ground is hard. I think for a shorter person the Berri is the better...

    Changing to off road mode

I'm looking for $2500CDN I paid $3300 with tax because I got it form a local store and I don't mind paying the higher price of $2900 because you get a lot from a local store when you support them. So I know I will take a loss on this a bit but it part of the game of finding something you are...

    Changing to off road mode

yeah I switched mine to 3 PAS levels to get to top speed faster LOL. I have bought a fat tire bike since and I am looking to sell my iGo as its is really locked and restricted where if you build your own parts you can make it as fast as you want.

Wanting to upgrade my existing Ebike and need help

So here's a weird question controllers like this https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07XBZL17N it does not seem to have any screen connectors. How do you connect a screen to these KT controllers? is it because it is only designed for a scooter and not an Ebike?

Wanting to upgrade my existing Ebike and need help

I guess this is the reason here, Quote from LUNA: The drawback of real Sine Wave controllers are they are very difficult to program to work correctly with each motor type, so we are only offering this controller at the moment for a limited number of motors. So if I don't have the specs on my...

Wanting to upgrade my existing Ebike and need help

Yes sorry ASI, they sell to anyone that wants a controller But yes that price is right $600. It comes with engineering support and again is meant to be used by a manufacturer that would pair this controller with a motor and use their software to have it all preset up. It can be used by a normal...

Wanting to upgrade my existing Ebike and need help

I was told it could possibly work but it would be shoehorned in. I would need to use the TRS connector to get TX and RX then steal +/- from another wire and they said in the end I would only get throttle no PAS. Then I looked at ACI as they are 2 blocks away from me and this BAC855 controller...
