    E-Glide ST review

I have the Mondial tires. I have ridden on street with broken glass and loose gravel, and on hard packed loose grave and never had a puncture or flat. I should carry a tire repair kit going so many miles every day but never do. Just wanted to mention yesterday I completed the 34 mile Lake Mead...

First issue with my E-Glide ST (Remote lock out)

Hi Roland, I also had problems with the front fork lock out. It work at first but now doesn't seem to lock out. I also disassembled the top and it seems there is nothing you can adjust since it only has a pin or button on the top of the cylinder that is depressed by the switch on the handlebar...

    E-Glide ST review

There is this steep incline in Vegas where these bikers with huge leg muscles are pumping to get up at maybe 7 mph. I like to pass them up sitting straight up on my bike, no handed, grooving to my I pod!

    E-Glide ST review

I ride mine in the normal mode at level 3. I seem to cruise with me pedaling at about 15-16 mph I go the pace I like and have plenty of battery power. I never seem to notice much difference between 4 and 5 when I'm in 4 but maybe since I'm in normal mode. I have noticed it takes a long time for...

    E-Glide ST review

My mileage may be different due to sometimes I go thru an elevation difference of 1000 feet. The longest ride I have taken is 28 miles. Also once the code 7 came up and I lost power going up a steep bank over the highway on a low battery. I thought something broke but I think the bike was...

First issue with my E-Glide ST (Remote lock out)

So there is an adjustment nut right at the handlebar suspension lock out switch. Some minor adjustment and it's working again. One thing I like about E-glide is all the manuals to the different components are right on their web site. They are very transparent and you pretty much have a good...

First issue with my E-Glide ST (Remote lock out)

This morning as I was preparing to get ready to ride I noticed that the front fork was in suspension mode. I thought I forgot to lock out the suspension with the handlebar switch but it was in the locked position. I thought here is the first warranty repair I'm going to need. 1/2 way through my...

    E-Glide ST review

Here in Las Vegas it is very bowel shape and as you head out west there is an incline. That was the reason behind me getting a E-bike this year. 10, 20, and 25 degree angles are no problem for the motor with me assisting. There was this one paved path on Mt. Charleston that was at least 35...

    E-Glide ST battery charger

Roland, I usually wait till the light on the charger is green. The charger seems to get hot while it is working which worried me a little at first. When I start the bike in the morning the BMS reads 54.4 when fully charged. The manual states once charged to disconnect from the charger. If left...

    E-Glide ST review

Congratulations. I think it is the best value out there. Some things I had to get used to with a electric bike. When you come to a stop don't pedal. The cadence sensor will pick up your pedaling and try to assist you. Don't worry, a firm hold on the brake will still stop you. You can use the...

    E-Glide ST review

Hi, I just saw your comment. When I was looking for my first E-bike I also noticed the huge difference in prices. There are a few E-bike stores in my city and most of the bikes also started at 2700.00. I think E-Glide keeps their price down by offering only two models and also you are buying it...

    E-Glide ST review

I would have liked an adjustable stem, but this is all they had at the bicycle shop. Works fine for me. The cables are no problem. The 41 tooth front sprocket didn't make a huge change, but I seem to assist more when I'm at level 5. Less battery usage. If you go over that the chain starts to...

    E-Glide ST review

Hello. Just an update. I changed out my front sprocket going from a 36 teeth to a 41. The way the gearing is set up seems to me more for mountain bike steep grade use. With 10 gears on the back I never seemed to use the lower gears. Even when the motor is off I seem to use the higher gears...

    E-Glide ST review

I'm pretty new to E-biking since I haven't had my E-bike for a month yet. The rear hub motor is separate from the crank set. But when you pedal along, the rear hub motor is working less to perform the same speed. There is a segmented bar on the LCD screen that represents the discharging current...

    E-Glide ST review

Hello. I changed the setting to a 24 inch tire size and it now the speed almost matches my GPS. I drove the ST on Rt. 156 by Mt. Charleston today. Too hot to ride at the lower elevations in Las Vegas. The road has a pretty steep grade that peaks at over 8400 ft. The ST pulled me up no problem. I...

    E-Glide ST review

Hi, I just wanted to write a little non professional review of the E-Glide ST. This is my first E-bike and my decision was based on price, components compared to comparable priced E-bikes, and the two reviews done by EBR. One on the ST and also one on Dave and the E-Glide outfit in Santa Monica...

    E-Glide ST battery charger

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm just charging the battery in the house now when I'm able to monitor it. If it feels hot I shut it down and let it cool. I know my old laptop charger use to give off a lot of heat too. I'll call them if it becomes an issue.

    E-Glide ST battery charger

Hi, I purchased my first E-bike. The E-Glide ST. I'm very happy with it. It is a whole new experience of bike riding. Everything worked great right out of the box. There was some noise from the front brake pads but I think the pads just need to set. One concern I have is my charger gets aweful...
