Jay, After dialing in the kickstand I have had no noise issue.. Every bike I have owned required some fine tuning of the components. Overall the quality of the Delite is superb!

If you have concern about the hinge deteriorating a small piece of high tack duct tape placed on the interior surface of the protective cap may add some strength to the hinge till you get a replacement part. MacMasterCarr sells a variety of different tapes.

Thanks for the feedback. I get the bike serviced in a couple months and will mention this to the dealer if I continue to notice noise after a secure the kickstand.

Looks like an excellent stand to handle any rotation angle for adjustments. Hoping what I ordered will do the upside down same as yours so I do not have to bend in an awkward position to keep the bottom of the bike clean.
