    Pre-pandemic R&M bikes

I've got a pre pandemic Delite purchased 2 years ago. Quite an amazing bike. I am pedaling at a higher cadence with this bike than any non e bike I rode in the past. More miles on the road and less stress on the body with e assist. The Delite can handle any sort of road condition and a blast to...

R&M Bosch power socket rubber cap - design flaw

If you have concern about the hinge deteriorating a small piece of high tack duct tape placed on the interior surface of the protective cap may add some strength to the hinge till you get a replacement part. MacMasterCarr sells a variety of different tapes.

    Noise level with a Delite?

I learned other people on this forum had similar issues with kickstand noise and saw the psted photos and videos. My fix was similar. Drill and tap a small hole in the kickstand. Cut a small strip of rubber with a small hole in the center for the stainless steel screw. The lower portion of the...

    Noise level with a Delite?

Wondering if anyone else with a Delite has frame vibration noise when riding on rough pavement. After several weeks on the road I began noticing a higher noise level when pedaling on rough roads. Lot of cracked road pavement in my local area I did a google search for noise with the Gates belt...

Nyon upgrade or Garmin for GPS?

Mr. Coffee, Is rwGPS the sane as Ride with GPS available at Apple? I've been reluctant to use the iPhone for GPS as I am not sure if the the phone can be mounted on the bike with no chance of it dropping off on bad pavement. Some of the roads in my area are a lot of cracked asphalt. Lot of...

Nyon upgrade or Garmin for GPS?

Lot of excellent feedback with my inquiry for GPS. My intent with bike GPS is to have something easy use for a bike trip into rural areas and return home. I doubt I will ever use other features such as elevation or HR as I'm just looking for a solution to know when to turn left or right on...

Nyon upgrade or Garmin for GPS?

Has anyone been using a Garmin for GPS and had the opportunity to campare it with a Nyon. I want to start using GPS on the Delite and I have zero experience with either Garmin or Nyon. The Nyon upgrade is not going to avaialable at my local R&M dealer until Sept. The cost appears to be similar...

    Frame tool bag for Superdelite

I purchased a $16 cloth tool roll up from Menards and applied a clear rubber sealer to the outer layer. This was the only tool wrap I found to fit the length and width of the Delite rear rack. Was an affordable and easy solution to carry tool, tubes wallet, phone and pump in a minimal size...

Any potential rain issues with pre 2020 battery mounts, Bossch drive or Rohloff?

My rookie question for the evening. I notice the current R&M bikes have batteries integrated into the frame. The bike I have has batteries that clip onto the frame. Wondering if anyone has had any electronic issues when commuting in the rain with batteries exposed to moisture. Also wondering...

Help with Magura E rear brake adjustment

m@Robertson, I would have tried your suggestion if I had not used a thin gauge shim. I was wondering if others had tried different washers, rotors or caliper mounting techniques. The components on this R&M are the best of any bike I ever owned and I did not want to start messing anything up...

Help with Magura E rear brake adjustment

AguassissiM, Your suggestion worked!. One pad was contacting the rotor. I loosened the caliper bolts, placed a .004" piece of metal shim stock between the pad and rotor, pressed the brake lever and retightened the calliper bolts. Voila! There is no longer any caliper rub issue. I called Magura...

Help with Magura E rear brake adjustment

Thanks for the replies. Wondering if the tight tolerance between the brake pads and disc rotor is the result of a bike that has not been in use. I have had the bike for over 2 years and waited an extended time before riding again. A non E bike I rode had Avid mechanicals with an adjustable dial...

Help with Magura E rear brake adjustment

I've got a Delite with Magura E hydraulic brakes. I am looking for suggestions on how to adjust the rear disc brake pads by very minimal amount. No matter how I attempt to adjust rear caliper bolts I end up with the rotor contacting the pads. Wondering if there is an adjustment screw on the...

How to switch off my superdelite HS lights?

Thank you for posting this. I could not figure out how to turn the lights off. I followed your steps. After doing this my lights started blinking every time I turn the Kiox on. I removed the Kiox, waited 30 seconds before placing it back in the bike. When I turned on the Kiox I was able to turn...

    Bike repair stand suggestions.

Looks like an excellent stand to handle any rotation angle for adjustments. Hoping what I ordered will do the upside down same as yours so I do not have to bend in an awkward position to keep the bottom of the bike clean.
