Pedals - do you use the stock or did you upgrade?

Thanks for explaining all of that!!! I definitely get it now. I think I'm going to try the Crank 50/50, merely because REI has them, and I'd like to get some before tomorrow when I ride again. I also have a $10 credit with REI :-P It would take a lot for me to go without my boots. I grew-up...

Pedals - do you use the stock or did you upgrade?

Mark, what are the things these pedals do that make them better than the stock pedals? I'm a noob with pedals, so can't figure out why some pedals might be better than others. thx

Pedals - do you use the stock or did you upgrade?

Noobish ST1 Platinum owner here, back in action after not riding for a year due to busy schedule with work and school. I started riding again, and the stock pedals sometimes seem a little smallish. I don't know the first thing about pedals, and so I've just started researching. I definitely...

    Charger/Display unit not working?

You're a smart man J.R. - that's exactly what the shop suggested! I just got back from Radio Shack, replaced the battery, but still the same result. It seems as though the display unit doesn't want to connect/communicate with the bike :(

    Charger/Display unit not working?

Update - I just tried a couple things, and it appears that the charger fan starts for a few seconds and then turns green upon plugging in; In other words, this is normal behavior for the charger. The display piece says the same thing whether screwed onto the bike or not, which leads me to...

    Charger/Display unit not working?

Hi guys and gals, Hope you all are well. My former eFlow bike is now in the hands of my boss/company. They came to me yesterday stating that they couldn't charge the bike. When I looked at things, it appears that the charging unit might not be working. I'm not sure, but when I plug the charger...

Heads-up: 1UpUSA rack does not work with bikes that have rear rack

I have been super busy with work and school, and we've had a cold weather patch, so I have not tried anything with this yet...

Heads-up: 1UpUSA rack does not work with bikes that have rear rack

Thanks for the suggestions! 86, I will look into that next time I attempt loading my bike. I really like this rack, but was really bummed when I finally got the rear rack installed and couldn't get the arms under it. When I first thought about this whole setup, it seemed that the arms of the...

Heads-up: 1UpUSA rack does not work with bikes that have rear rack

I love a lot of things about my 1Up rack, that I recently purchased. I love the looks of it, I love the way that it is compact and doesn't extend far away from the car (which means more room for parking), I love the way it folds easily, I love how quick and easy it is to place bike on, clamp and...

    Speakers?

I was thinking about getting one but then changed my mind (my route is a beach bike path and is so nice, no music addition needed). When I was looking, the best value from my extensive research was the JBL Charge. There are a couple portable speakers that have better sound quality, but the price...

    1UpUSA Bike Rack

I finally got a rear rack installed on my bike (Axiom Streamliner). The arms of the 1Up will not go between the rack arms, and so now it appears that I cannot use the 1Up for a bike with a rack. Am I the only one who has this issue?

For those who do, how did you learn to do so? Is there any instructional video on how to do?

Does anyone know what size seatpost collar the Stromer requires?

So I got my 34.9 collar, and of course now it is too big. It's been almost a month now, and I still can't install a simple rack to my Stromer (what a headache!!!). Peadar, you mentioned you used "rubber fill" to make the collar work. Can you elaborate on what you used? I'm trying to think of...

    ST1 loosing power & speed

I'm a new ST1 owner... the only thing I've noticed so far is that often times when I'm at a complete standstill, as soon as I push down on the pedal I get a lot of assistance - but a few times recently, there was no assistance at all, and one time I actually had to play with the bike for like...

Does anyone know what size seatpost collar the Stromer requires?

I don't have calipers, but I measured with a tape measure... the outside of the frame looks to be the right size, but the inside appears to be slightly smaller than it should be. I am just surprised because I would think that Stromer owners would know what size collar should fit the seat post.
