Thanks for the information. Most independent vendors don’t have it in stock. I just ordered it from Amazon but it won’t arrive until mid July. I’ll keep you posted.
I was thinking about the Ergon GP5 large size grips for my Moscow plus. Don’t know if I should get the gripshift or regular version however. The regular version has a longer width then the gripshift model, but cant tell if it’s going to be too long. Should I get the gripsize version instead? If...
If you use the Huffy quick replacement inner tube, can you leave it in for good or does it need to be replaced when you make it back home? In other words, is it comparable to a spare donut tire or a full size spare tire?
I have The Moscow Plus and it’s 30.9mm. I replaced the one that came with the bike with a redshift shockstop suspension Seatpost. I also needed to buy a Seatpost shim, 27.2 to fit it. It cost a lot of money but, I think it’s worth it.
I’m in the U.S. and I’ve had exceptional service from Leon Cycles, located in Washington State. They answer my phone calls, respond to my emails and send replacement parts when warranted. Sorry you are having issues over by you.
I had a similar issue. I took a video of the rear wheel spinning with the sound, then sent it over to Leon Cycle (where I purchased the bike) and they sent me a new wheel with motor, all covered under warranty.
I received an email from Trek Bicycle Super Store for a service they are offering for their tire sealant - “Super Guard Flat Tire Protection”. Is this something worthwhile?
Ride Worry-Free with Super Guard Flat Tire Protection
Don't let another flat tire ruin your ride. For $50, we'll "Super...
I’ve only rode the bike on paved rides so far at 45 PSI. What’s the likelihood of getting a flat tire riding on gravel? Should the tire pressure be that low at 30 PSI to help prevent a flat?
I believe they would cover the repair cost as well. They are very good at supporting warranty work. After you get your service receipt, email a copy over to them for reimbursement.
I have the Moscow Plus. My battery also charges up to a high of 53.8 volts. It gets down to 1 bar on the display at about 45 volts and will shortly thereafter start to blink. I never let it completely discharge as I don’t want to get stuck away from home base. The lowest I let it get down to so...
I know it’s the wheel and hub, but I’m not sure if it includes the tire. They said it also covers repair service at my local shop and it shouldn’t cost more than $20.
Just heard back from Leon Cycle and they are sending me a replacement wheel hub motor, under warranty. Now I just need to find someone to install it, because I sure enough can’t do it.
I spoke to Enrique in the support department at Leon Cycle and he is terrific. He said there Is definitely an issue coming from the hub/motor and they are looking into a resolution for a fix. Something is going need to be replaced, but not sure what yet. My issue is not a common problem they...
Here is new whining sound I just started to hear coming from the hub, even without any battery power. Just the wheel spinning makes this sound. I only have 200 miles on the bike. Has anyone had this issue? Thanks for any advice.
Thanks for posting that. I’m happy with my Moscow Plus. I’m not doing anything that extreme on my bike - just normal roads, hills, gravel and pot holes. This entry level bike has everything I was looking for.
