    My Archon Range so far...

I'm totally digging the smoothness. Looking back at the older controller I couldn't get to the upper speed as quickly and evenly like the Archon.

    My Archon Range so far...

On the hike/bike trail it was Eco 1 or 2. On the regular roads it was Eco 2 or 3.

    My Archon Range so far...

I'd put my average speed at 18 mph. Here's what Google lists for the elevation on the planned portion of the ride: Thank you for the Math, and yes, I'm running my Ultimate Commuter at 2300W. 🙂

    My Archon Range so far...

I just got back in from ebiking a total of 45 miles. This morning I decided to go out and do a route I've done before to test the range on one battery that's at 52v 17.5ah, with the new Archon Controller. Previously with the default Bafang Ultra controller, my range was around 25-27 miles for...

Waiting for Wattwagon motor - USPS delays

I hope your order arrives soon. My answer to your thread title is, "not me" and I can attest to two things: First, I've experienced the delayed shipping by USPS. The second is echoing @byunbee in regards to Pushkar providing excellent customer service.

First ride with the Archon X1 upgrade!

@pushkar, My left crank arm ended up defunct. I stripped out the receptor where the pedal attaches to the crank arm. Fortunately the pedal threads are still good and my replacement crank arms are arriving this Friday so I can finally do a long ride and compose a written review. From the rides...

Quick update on Archon / Rohloff / Kindernay tests

Yeah, I'll take the belt and cog changes at a few thousand miles instead of a few hundred miles using a chain and cassette.

First ride with the Archon X1 upgrade!

@pushkar Would a 52v 50ah battery work with the Archon X1 controller, or is there an amp limit?

    Are profiles relevant any more?

I think the ability to create profiles would cater the UC to each respective rider. Besides having a "cargo" and "cruising" profile, I could use one to make my UC compatible with local regs, or a profile that's a true economical setting if I'm worried about not having enough juice to get to...

First ride with the Archon X1 upgrade!

@AdilDesai, the total weight of my Ultimate Commuter with loaded panniers is around 80 lbs. The dry weight of a UC is at 65 lbs. Throw in an extra 52v 17.5 ah battery by EM3ev, and it's and additional 10.36 lbs. Add in my panniers containing equipment and two thirty ounce Hydro Flasks full...

First ride with the Archon X1 upgrade!

@pennybags I took my new Archon controlled Ultra engine on a spin yesterday, Sunday, to do a proper shake down and here's what happened. 13 miles in to a planned 40 mile continuous ride and I break my left pedal. This wasn't the pedal the Ultimate Commuter comes with, it was a different brand...

    Dual battery

@Thomas Jaszewski can you give me more details on the switch and voltmeter, like the name/model and where it was purchased?

First ride with the Archon X1 upgrade!

I've installed my upgraded Bafang Ultra engine and took it out for a quick spin. I only went a couple of miles but never made it out of eco green PAS 3. Most of my ride was in PAS 1 and 2. The acceleration was smooth but quick and it really feels like I have a new ebike. I'm planning a...

First ride with the Archon X1 upgrade!

@tomdav if you have a regular crank arm extractor, just slip in a bolt in the center so the crank arm extractor has something to push against.

    I concur with @AdilDesai.

First ride with the Archon X1 upgrade!

Ditto for me. I'm anxious to get the engine back on my UC and take it for a spin. I probably won't be able to give it a proper shake down until this Sunday.

First ride with the Archon X1 upgrade!

Thanks for sharing this @BillyDeeFour. I've opted for the 2300 watt upgrade, and really looking forward to testing out the "rocket".

Ideal display for Watt Wagons (future feature)

I'm good with almost all of the display features except for these two: 3 and 4.

Will Watt Wagons Enter Bike Shows ?

@pushkar I'd wear a Watt Wagons t-shirt or baseball cap everytime I'm out ebiking if you make these available.
