What model and color is your E-Lux?

Nice choice! I got the Tahoe Sport in orange and love it. It gets a ridiculous amount of comments. Got mine back in mid May and so far have about 1100 miles on it. Love this thing.

    Bike Rack for ebike

There was just a thread on this maybe a week ago or less, should be within like the first 2 pages. That said, my Saris EX 2-Bike rack has really been amazing. It's very, very solid and fits my gigantic E-Lux Tahoe Sport well when most can't handle it due to wheel base.

    Insurance

I have State Farm and was able to add it to my policy for about $25/month. It is basically insured as a motorcycle, includes liability and the works. $500 deductible base, $100 deductible for vandalism and the like.

Bike racks. What do you use, and why?

The Saris I mentioned has a 4 bike version https://www.saris.com/product/superclamp-ex-4 - Although it only comes in a 2" hitch version, and only holds 2 60lb bikes plus 2 35lb bikes, so if it is 4 very heavy e-bikes it might be too much. Though once you remove seats and batteries weights come...

Upgrading battery - how do you know what a controller can handle?

I do indeed! Thanks, that video was a lot of help.

Study: eBikers Get More Exercise than Traditional Cyclists & Use Cars Less

Not surprised by this. Since I got my eBike I'm getting 2 30 minute workouts per day I wasn't getting before, and generally speaking I only drive my car now once every 2 weeks for heavy groceries.

Bike racks. What do you use, and why?

I used the Saris EX-2. Fits down to 1 1/4" hitches which I needed because I had to use a factory tow hitch (which comes in that size). Carries 2 bikes up to 60lbs each, clamps on tires (very adjustable) and also has straps for the tires as well. It held my MASSIVE E-Lux Tahoe for hundreds of...

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Some people had mentioned the new-ish trail at Tahoe near Incline Village and I finally got a chance to spend a week up there. Loved it. Amazing views, great little trail.

Upgrading battery - how do you know what a controller can handle?

I currently have an E-Lux Tahoe Sport with a 48V/20A battery and I was thinking of picking up a spare battery. In the process, I was considering a 52V/20A since the price difference is negligible. And from what I've seen things can be a little more efficient that way as well - At least I think...

    ebike insurance

I also have State Farm. Mine is insured as a motorcycle, essentially, and am fully covered, including liability, collision, theft, and vandalism. I think my deductible is $500, though for vandalism and the like it is only $100 which will be nice if a battery gets stolen somehow or it gets messed...

Securing an e-Bike with Panniers Attached

Crazy. Relatively speaking, that is so little force it looks like someone just securing their bike or doing a little work on it.

Your Feeling about Using 'No Trespass' Private/Gov Trails

And always keep a good eye out. The last thing you want to do is run into a hidden weed growing operation out in the boonies, too :) Only ever happened once, but when your trail opens up on that field and you see it, and you know it isn't legal there, you turn around quick lol

Securing an e-Bike with Panniers Attached

It's going to be super hard with a u-lock. I've got a similar setup with big panniers and I used a kryptonite chain lock that works amazingly well and is just barely long enough to allow me to secure it most places (and it's a lot more flexible than the u-locks. Chains can theoretically be cut...

Are Slime Sealing tubes safe ?

What are tubeless advantages over sliming a tube and using a protective insert? I assume it's a little lighter, and you can run lower PSI without a chance of pinch flats, but I'm still new and want to be sure I'm on the right track :)

    Police Harassment

LOL the Bike Snob literally says that he isn't talking about their effectiveness, you just shouldn't get ridiculously angry at people who don't. Try again.

Help choosing - for heavier rider?

So just a followup on this - I ended up with the E-Lux Tahoe Sport. I've had it for a couple weeks now and it is an amazing bike. It's absolutely HUGE though, and heavy, so avoid if you need to carry it up stairs :) Or if you are short (though I think they have their step through model...
