I have verified with the company that the V2 will hold a 60lb bike for the 1st bike loaded, and additional bikes @ 40lb limit. The specs stipulate that on their website.

This certainly was astounding when I saw this video, however, I do agree with you regarding the escooter clutter that is happening here across the US. As careful as municipalities try to be with regulation, there still is so much disregard for the scooters/bicycles by very careless individuals...

I would never consider using this for the mere fact that it could over spray onto innocent bystanders at the cost of the bike getting stolen, not to mention possible liability issues associated with its functionality. There are better options out there IMHO.

Ahh yes SportRack, which I have owned for over 20 years and it still looks and works great. I use the 1 1/4 inch receiver with the rack. Great quality.

Very nice selling point (the ramp) for the Thule IMO. 1UP Racks all aluminum bike carriers also introduced that on their newer models as an option.

I am now on my 2nd cassette (arrived today) and 2nd chain at approx the same distance ridden of 2000mls. Stephan, being on number 3 is giving me a big heads up with premature wear on components. I will try my best to follow a better regimen while riding on the small cogs especially. Good luck...
