I went from testing out the Verve+3 and then the Allant+7S, and ended up buying the Allant+8S.... they all ride differently but the 8S won me over. like any bike i think you have to adjust everything to your likes. Change the seat post, Saddle, Pedals Etc.

they are great pedals, i use the 5MM outside and the 3MM on the inside part of the pedal. I got them from Bikeshoes.com as they had 12% off... I was a bit skeptical on the Seat post but after putting 200 miles on it I am amazed on how well it works.

doh that sucks, i only mainly ride pavement but i occasionally hit a trial or a patch of sand near the beach trying to get from point A to B. Thanks for the info will take that into more consideration.

Are you still using the stock tires? i think they are Schwabe G one? was thinking of getting the Marathon E-Plus in a couple hundred miles and not sure how much off road/gravel i can do with them.
