SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

One thing to bear in mind when considering changing wheel travel of just one wheel and that is you will also be changing the geometry. If you lift only the front you will slow the steering down and if you lift only the rear you will make it steer quicker which could have the side effect of...

    Superdelite engine jerk when kicking-in

Does it matter which assist level you’re in? Which gear do you start in? Marc

    Superdelite engine jerk when kicking-in

Is it possible to describe it with a bit more detail. I'm not sure what a twitch is. Marc

Stock Suntour vs Fox Float 34 Forks

This fork is extremely easy to service. I completely disassembled it and performed the factory recommended service which includes soaking the felts in oil which are supposed to keep the tubes/bushings lubricated. I also re-greased the seals as suggested using the proper lubricant. On reassembly...

Stock Suntour vs Fox Float 34 Forks

Does anyone have experience with the stock Suntour fork that comes on the Delite vs the upgraded Fox Float 34? I'm looking for something more compliant than the stock Suntour. I went through it about 300 miles ago and lubed everything which helped but now its back to where it was. If the Fox...

Alternative tyres for Superdelite - optimised for puncture resistance

I just thought of another potential problem. I have FOBO 2 tire pressure monitors installed as well and I'm wondering what effect the Slime might have on the sensors. I sent an email to FOBO asking. BTW, the FOBO 2 monitor works perfect for me. It monitors tire pressure 24/7 even when the bike...

Alternative tyres for Superdelite - optimised for puncture resistance

I would like to add some sealant to my tubes after reading of all the flats here. I ride exclusively on pavement and haven't had a flat yet after 2200 miles so I figure I'm probably due ;) I hear a lot about Slime but is there a better sealant you guys might suggest that is available in the US...

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

I put these on yesterday and they eliminated the problem unless I'm really leaned over. Well worth it to me. The difference is that the pedal is concave on the non-cleat side so the edges are lifted up. Perfect! I'm going to take off the cleats and put some lead wheel weights down there so the...

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

Seems like you might have that reversed Richard. When the crank arms are longer it gives you more leverage and easier climbing than when the arms are shorter. Also, the cadence which refers to RPM doesn't change. What does change is the distance the pedal travels in order to complete one...

SuperDelite pedals too close to ground :-/

I have smashed the pedals multiple times as well. I've been working hard to train myself not to have the pedal down when turning or changing grades. I am getting better at it but my pedals look like they've been through a war :(

That looks interesting. Is that something that would also work on a SD? Where does it plug in? Marc

    Servicing the Aion Fork

Over the last couple of weeks I noticed that the fork on my Superdelite seemed to be getting harsher than normal. It just didn't seem to be reacting to small bumps as well as it had previously. On a motorcycle this is usually caused by excessive stiction coming from the seals. Yesterday I...

Of course its easy for him since there isn't any belt tensioner visible. Cheater! :) Click on this and it will start with a clear view of where the tensioner SHOULD be. Marc
