Thank you everyone for all your ideas. As it turns out, I replaced both tires as they were bald. On the one that was making the noise, I found the tire liner to be way off center. Between straightening it out and replacing the tire, the noise is gone.

Just wondering if anyone has done an upgrade on a 2020 Rize Leisure Bafang 500 Watt, 80 N.m motor for more power.

I've boiled it down to a very slightly bent rotor. I did a manual caliper adjustment by eye and made sure the rotor was centered. It calmed the noise down for the most part so at least I know what's causing it. Rize sells the rotors for $35 so it's a cheap fix.

I had the bearings checked, not the issue. Has anyone else had this happen?

yup. that's what it was. At least it didn't ruin the crank threads. I removed the cap and tried the puller again and the crank came off easily. Thanks for the tip!

yup. Luckily, I didn't wreck the threads in the crank arm.

After changing a flat on the rear wheel of new Rize Leisure, I noticed that the rear wheel was not centered in the frame. The drive side was about 1/2 " away from the frame while the left side was only 1/8th" away. I rode it like this for about 1000 km without issue until my next flat. Now...

Yes it is. Rize also sent out a video ( unforwardable) on exactly how to change it out. This is definitely the correct one.

I wound up being directed to Craig at Rize and he requested a video of the clicking sound in the crank area. I provided him with a video and he then suggested I try tightening the pedals and crank arms. After I informed him that it was still happening after I did that, he said that Rize was...

I just found a video of the installation of this torque sensor. It's for a mid drive motor. The Rize Leisure is a hub drive Bafang motor and the torque sensor is located in the crank.

Thanks for all your info guys. I'm still dealing with Rize on this. Before they send out any parts, they want a video of the issue so I guess that's the next project. I'll keep you posted.

Yeh. Trouble is, the bike is still under warranty and Rize hasn't replied to my email as to what their going to do.
