    I agree also. I have used my Easy Fold for over two years including long road trips. Never a problem. The LBS dealer showed me how to securely fasten the carrier to the hitch receiver and how to load the bikes and secure them.

    I cannot answer your question, but Pedego has a number of models with rear hub motors that have torque sensor pedal assist.

    There is some flex. I take it easy going over speed bump or rail road tracks. Make sure the rack is very tight in the hitch by turning the tighting knob as far as possible.

    The Platinum Interceptor does have a walk assist mode. You set it up thru the display. Read the manual or get the dealer to show you how. I don't have a Boomerang, but I would bet that has one also.

    What instructions came with the bike? My bike's instructions says to charge completely after each ride. Bike and battery on my bike is warranted for 5 years.

    I am far from an expert, but I replaced the original tires on my bike with Schwalbe Johnny Wats. I have about 300 miles on them since replacing and I have been very happy. I ride mostly on pavement and gravel trails.
