With so many Lectric XP owners out there, it would be interesting to know which PAS/Gear combinations you would use the most if you could only choose two or three.

Its been my experience that a solid fork is better than a cheapo suspension fork (as they bounce too much and fall apart after a few months or weeks depending on your riding). Ever ride in a car with broken or worn shocks..?...yeah, not fun. Beware of buying low end units. That is why Lectric...

The irony is that by the time you add tax and all the upgrades you are likely to buy for the XP, you are closer to $1150, not the $899 they advertise. I think so many people look at that $899 and say, wow...but after all is said and done...maybe buying the Ford instead of the Mercury ain't...

From another thread, the poster said that Lectric wrote him back that the bikes no longer come with a bell. Wonderful...now you can add another "upgrade/option" that the buyer has to buy on their own. These Lectric guys are genius....Don't spend any of your own money manufacturing new bikes...

IF that story is remotely accurate, then let's hope that these guys start to stock pile bikes in Arizona for quick shipping. Yes, new start-ups have no cash for inventory, we get that. That was 2019. But Lectric can no longer be labeled as a start-up. With that kind of success and cash on hand...

These guys better get a handle on this shipping problem. Sounds more and more like an internal problem, not a UPS problem. Maybe they got too big too fast. There is a remedy for that...in June and July, most of their competitors will be fully supplied again and then there will be more choices...

I wonder how long you'd be in business if your customers had to wait a month or more for you to show up on the job (after they already paid you)? Must be nice to be in such a "forgiving" business as selling bikes. It will be interesting to see if people will be so forgiving as the summer months...

I'm new here and apologize if this has been asked before. I'll be ordering a new XP soon, and I would like to buy a spare chain before I actually ever need it. With dozens of chain types and manufacturers, its confusing to sort it all out. Then there are chain lengths...114 links, 116, 118, etc...
