Can these "Topgun" suspension forks be modded to be less stiff? I am not a heavy guy, and would like it to be softer. Perhaps it can be opened and the spring can be shortened at little? Has anyone thought about it?

One thing I don't like about fat tires is that it gets too much attention (all positive so far for me), but I still prefer less attention and more stealth on an Ebike.

The Voltbike Mariner includes a suspension seat post for your needs. It also has full fenders and rack, which I really like because it has a convenient spring clamp. I may start riding with a light jacket, and when it gets hot, I can easily stow it under the spring clamp.

I believe 18650 cells is the "sweetspot" in terms of price / quality. It is one of the most popular standard for many applications, which keeps the price low. If you had to source other cells, I think the price will be much higher for the same quality.
