@ace20ri Yes, my LCD allows me to increase the current to 30A also. I experimented at 20A, and my wattage immediately jumps up to almost 1,000W on full throttle. I didn't dare go any higher, because (thanks to your pictures), I see that the rated maximum current is only 20A (10A nominal). I...

What?! I was hoping the thinner Maxxis would attract LESS attention. Why do you think your Maxxis is getting more attention?

I was/am also considering the Maxxis for my Yukon 750, but because I have fenders, I think it will look out of place with a large gap from the smaller Maxxis. Maybe if I removed the fenders, but I really like my fenders.

For some reason, the Maxxis looks a lot nicer on your bike than on the Radrover in the Maxxis Hookworms thread. Maybe because it matches a black bike better, or maybe your pictures are better angled. I like it!

I can't remember, but did you also change the inner tube to a small size as well? Should you? Also, how did you blackout the yellow logo?

Thanks very much for the zip tie idea! Glad you finally got the Kenda off. Looking forward to pictures and ride experience with the Maxxis.

    New Voltbike Elegant Step-through 26"x2.1"

@Voltbike Can you reveal a picture of the Black version, please? Your website said a pre-order will secure your colour choice, but I'd like to see a picture first. Thanks.

I found cheap flashlight holder all over eBay, and bought the powerbank to fit the flashlight holder. Added a zip-tie to secure powerbank tightly. Also, make sure your handlebar is not greasy/oily. Perhaps wipe it down with alcohol.

I have the same large iPhone 6+. With my iPhone case, it is very heavy, but the mount holds it tight. Make SURE you tighten both nuts. During your ride, quickly check (every now-and-then) to make sure the four claws are not slowly opening from the vibrations. I happened to me once, because I...

I think the "secret" is to get a *floor* pump like the one I linked above. Mine is tiny and portable, but it is still a *floor* pump. Some portable pumps are handheld only. I tried them before. They were very inefficient and tiring.

Perhaps because I don't weigh a lot and don't carry a lot of gear. Also, maybe our pressure gauges are inaccurate. I tried higher 15 - 20 psi, but it was too harsh for me. More importantly, I didn't notice significant battery or speed efficiency. I went back to lower psi for the comfort...

Will the smaller frame have a shorter wheelbase also? Currently, the Teo S' 49" (1244mm) wheelbase seems a bit long for this fatbike category. The popular brand fatbikes (not necessarily ebike) have wheelbases around 45-46 inches.

Let me know how hard it is to remove your stock Juggernauts tires. The wire bead is a pain because it is so stiff. I wanted to rotate the front to back but gave up. My tire levers were getting destroyed by the stiff sidewall.

I have no problem with a cheapie pump from Canadian Tire for around CAD$9.99 on sale. They don't carry my model anymore, but similar to this: http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/supercycle-floor-bike-pump-0734820p.html#srp I just tested it. I deflated my 26x4 fat tires until the beads started...

    Walking your bike

My Voltbike Yukon 750 has a 6 km/h walk mode which I initially thought was too fast. However, I now realize that the only time I really use this mode is when I have to push my bike up a very steep (un-rideable) hill. Therefore, in a real-use situation, 6 km/h bogs down to around 4 km/h because...

I bought three Convoy S2+ in different colours (red, blue, gray) and they are all real. The other ones have the metal switches, but the colour did not match my bike. This gray version is also authentic, but has the rubber switch which is easier to press with biking gloves on. Rubber or metal...

    New Voltbike Elegant Step-through 26"x2.1"

Official specs are now up: http://www.voltbike.ca/voltbike-elegant/voltbike-elegant.html No new pictures though. I was hoping to see a black version. The white version still looks very plain with no additional graphics. Price is US$1,299 or CAD$1,599.

I would be interested in a smaller frame. Like you said, the bike looks a lot bigger in person. Also, the wheelbase on the Teo bikes is already longer than the category average. I prefer smaller sizes. The current size probably fits 5'8" to 6'2". I would prefer something around 5'4" to 5'10"

The website on the white bike shows a 28" standover. That doubt that, because we know the diameter of a 26x4" fat tire is 29". From the picture, it is clear that the lowest point is much higher than the top of the tires. I'd estimate the standover on the white bike to be more like 31" (not...

This website slow as molassis. Just me?

I know that when I do a "search", most (if not all) of the historic posts are not showing up. I think all profile history from before the website redesign are lost. Is that correct? For example, I could not find my older posts with "search". However, I can find them manually by remember...
