Turbo Owners -- What's your total mileage? [OFFICIAL MILEAGE THREAD]

My first 2000 km (1242 miles) It does not look much, but for me it was. I hope I could do some more before the bike gives me more trouble (or the winter arrives).

    Tyres for the Turbo

I just recently bought the Schwalbe Marathon Plus 47-662 and frankly are the best tyres I have had so far for this bike. They look amazing, make the bike really fast (with the proper inflation) and feels like you have a good grip all the time due to the width. I just did around 250 km with these...

    Broken spokes

Hi, I had a stupid accident on ice and I bent the front aluminium rim. As it's pretty standard, I bought a new one online for 60 dollars (It's a bike part reseller here in Europe). It was particularly this one, it's in Swedish but you can easily see the specs. The width of the rim is a little...

    Broken spokes

Last January I sent the whole bike to be checked due to the broken spokes and LCD issues. Took it to my dealer and they were really surprised about breaking so many spokes. Without hesitation talked to Specialized and changed the whole wheel and a new LCD panel (backlight was dead). Here some...

    Turbo S battery error

The limitation is on the battery (if you mean the speed limitation). Make sure you get the 691 Wh battery that is the one of Turbo S (the one with highest capacity), that's the only one that will be almost 100% sure that won't come with any kind of limitation, though I do not know what kind of...

    Turbo S battery error

If the battery yields less than 75% of its capacity before reaching 300 charging cycles within the first 2 years, it should be replaced by Specialized. Talk to the store where you bought the bike, they will replace it for you (Specialized never do any job directly with the end user).

    Turbo Levo Issue

Welcome to the world of e-bike problems. Complain as many times as possible with your dealer until you're 100% happy with the product. Specialized should replace any part (or the whole bike) until it works as expected. We pay good money for these bikes so the least expected is they work...

    Battery Cover

If you don't find it on google, it does not exist.

    Low temperature affecting battery

I rode several times on -10c (14F) and no problems for me with the standard battery. The problems with batteries usually arrive with high temperatures, not with low. But the manufacturer recommends not to use it with less than -20c (-4). If there's a huge difference in performance with less than...

    New Firmware for Turbos

Hi Roja, in my experience your odometer will reset under the following circumstances: - firmware upgrade of the battery - battery replacement - firmware bug (I have no idea if this is an actual issue fixable by firmware updates). Is recommended to keep the record of your current odometer before...

    2016 Base Turbo HUB Service

Why do you need to rebuild the hub? Do you have problems with the spokes? check the post about that. In my case I had 4 spokes being broken in sequence (after being replacing them) and Specialized changed the whole wheel for me (is still under warranty).

    Broken spokes

I will go to the dealer and tell them that I want a whole new rear wheel. I do not accept any more spoke changes. Today I broke the 4th after 6km ride. It looks like most of the spokes on the bike were faulty. I discard the tension on the spokes because I measured them and were well adjusted, it...

    New Firmware for Turbos

@Rafael if your bike is still under warranty don't update the firmware of the bike by yourself, because if you brick the battery, you're on your own. Let the dealer do it because you'll need not only the hardware, but also the software with the latest version of both (software+firmware). None of...

    Broken spokes

I just got the tool to measure the spoke tensions, it's an interesting tool and I found it very useful. This is me taking some measures one by one on each side. I asked about it in several bike stores they didn't even have it. To my surprise, my manually adjusted spokes were not so bad in...

Fender job on the Turbo S - an unorthodox approach

Hi Jan, nice addition. I think it would also help in making the bike a little less muddled after a long ride. Where did you get these? custom made or you bought it in some Swedish supplier? did you have to make an extra effort/additional tools or anything to make them fit on the bike?

Wish your Turbo S had front suspension?

Hello guys, I've seen before that Specialized has a similar product called "future shock" but I haven't seen they sell it on the market so far. It seems like it comes with the Roubaix 2017 bikes if I am not wrong. You can check this review:

Some thoughts on buying a new battery for the Turbo

Hello guys, thanks for your insights. I think I will buy this battery some time next year. It would be really nice to have such a capacity, specially for longer rides. For the moment the best upgrade I got for this bike, is a much cheaper device that would almost work as rear suspension this...

    Broken spokes

I was curious about how to measure the spoke tension. It seems that Park Tool has an awesome device to measure that. What I like the most, is that you can input all your measurements on a web (free) and get your calculations and recommendation of adjustments. I think I will buy one for me =) I...

    Broken spokes

Well, today, another spoke (the 4th) jumped off from the rim of the wheel. I just felt it this time. I was lucky because I was just about to go down a very lengthy bridge at quite high speed. I am very likely to have an accident with this bike. I need to contact the dealer again and see what can...

    Broken spokes

The problem of the spokes of this bike keeps me worried. I have not much trust in this bike, especially if I want to go to higher speeds or take a long trip somewhere. Should I have to have a backup spoke all the time with the proper tool to adjust it on the way just in case? I never broke a...
