Redshift Arclight automatic multi mode lights

Saw this in an email a few days ago. It’s looking really good for those of us that commute or often ride in the dark.

    HipLok AirLok

Looks to be a very niche product. What are your uses for it? Is this for use in a shared residence or a parking area that the public can access?

Is there an eyelet for a rear rack

Yup. Have to drop the motor to get to the wiring harness. It’s not that difficult with the correct tools but it’s time consuming to do it correctly. You can see how it’s done in this video for a SpeedBox install. I had to loosen the chainrings on my Urban Rush, too.

Is there an eyelet for a rear rack

That’s correct. Most racks I’ve installed come with a few lengths of bolts. Sometimes they work, sometimes you have to go to the hardware store to get the one that fits best.

The Good Things You Have Bought ver. 2

I’m getting the double model once the kids are too big for the Burley.

How many gears do you really need & use?

I immediately looked for your location. I think you’re in the Bay Area, too? I like big range just like you do. I use all the gearing on my bike. Luckily I have a 50/34 chainring mated to an 11/32 cassette.

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Papa and daughter time! Unfortunately there’s so many wildfires burning north of us but the breeze and fog on the coast is keeping our air clean enough for our rides.

    Giant explore e+ 2017

I think replied to you on Reddit. You’re going to need an OEM battery.

Just received my Device Therapy Bike Mount & Reflector for Apple AirTag and I'm really Impressed.

I have the same scooter. But I placed mine inside the stem. Signal is still good. 👍🏽

    garmin varia is excellent

This is nice to see from an actual aviator. I only play aviator when I put my Ray-Bans on. Half my commute is in an urban environment. I've seen questions like "with so many cars in city streets, isn't that going to get annoying?" I think Garmin programmed it really well so that it only...

    garmin varia is excellent

But have you tried riding with Varia?

    garmin varia is excellent

I agree that a bike computer would be the better tool for most cases. It is easier for me to glance at the big phone display though, and not just for the Varia app. And having the data is nice but I use the bike for 75% commuting at this point. I use an Apple watch for Strava + heart rate and it...

    BarnBoy’s Realmax SX-13, 8kW eScooter Adventures….

Dude. Have fun! You’re not too far from me. Can I get a test ride? 😆😁

    BarnBoy’s Realmax SX-13, 8kW eScooter Adventures….

That’s a beast. Is this your first eScooter? I’ve owned a few low-powered scooters and currently own a NineBot Max and a TurboAnt X7 Pro. I do have the desire to step up to a more powerful dual-motor scooter mostly because of all the hills on my commute. I keep looking at the Apollo Ghost but...

    Radcity and cadence sensor

This is normal for a cadence sensor’d bike, yes. Not all controllers are programmed the same but this is basically what you get from a cadence sensor PAS. Generally speaking, you can think of a cadence sensor as an on/off switch that goes to the preset speed or wattage and a torque sensor is...

Suspension fork for Yamaha Cross Core

You may want to try some wider tubeless tires for extra cushion. The fork can probably take a 45mm wide tire and if you run it tubeless, you can run a lower pressure to make it even more comfy.

    Gravel Class 3

I’m not that well versed in Bosch but I think that has the lower torque figure of 40Nm. Might be okay if your hills aren’t too steep or long.

    Gravel Class 3

That’s a pretty bike! I also really like the Canyon Grail :ON

I also think the REI bikes are an excellent value. I would have recommended those first but I know OP didn't want suspension.
