    Don't need my bell anymore.

I just cough and a twelve foot swath immediately opens up in front of me. It is amazing that a pedestrian can't hear a bell from ten feet, but can hear a cough from thirty yards. JK, haven't ridden in over a week.

What do you use for a Helmet? (Pictures Thread)

Brake lights are automatic when the app senses a reduction in speed. Turn signals are activated with a remote attached to the handlebar that is paired with the helmet. Unlike the integrated turn signals on the bike, the helmet has an audible clicking sound so I remember to turn them off after...

What do you use for a Helmet? (Pictures Thread)

A little heavier than I would like, but some of my riding is in areas I might not be found for hours if I crashed or had a health emergency. Brake lights and turn signals are much more visible than the ones integrated on my bike.

SHOW us YOUR PIX here .... Odd, WeiRd ,UnUSuAl or EyE CaTchIng things from your rides

A very pleasant ride today through Amberjack Enviromental Area. Nice wide dirt/sand trails through the pines and palmettos. Not recommended for skinny tires as the wife had to walk her bike through some areas and we had to back track occasionally because the sand was too deep for too long...

Tough day for a ride today. Low 80's F, light wind and clear skies. I had ridden past the trail head for the Cape Haze Pioneer trail dozens of times, but today was the first time I stopped. I had never noticed the bike repair station with more bike tools than I will ever own cabled to it...

Bike of the day - Stepped off the elevator yesterday to go for a ride and saw this waiting for me. Not an ebike, but pretty cool. Maybe the oldest folding bike I have ever seen.

    RVing with ebikes.

RV's and ebikes are a match made in heaven. I bolted a Reese receiver on the back of my travel trailer for a rack with a ramp. Florida state parks have some great trails, but as you said, rocks, roots, and sugar sand pretty much necessitate fatter tires. My wife's bike has 1.95 tires and...

electric bike looking to buy one

Not sure who your question is directed to, but I usually charge with the battery in the bike. Removing the seat to remove the battery is no big deal.

electric bike looking to buy one

I use my VeeGo 750 for hunting. The rear rack has a 100 pound weight limit and I bolted the Rad platform rack to it so I could add Kolpin grips to carry my weapon of choice and still have room for my back pack when riding through the woods.

Why 8 mph at level 1

Ride Scoozy VeeGo 750. 6 mph at level 1 is in normal mode. Might be a bit slower in Eco mode.

Why 8 mph at level 1

My cadence sensing bike has 9 levels of PAS and level 1 tops out at 6 mph.

Step thru fat tired ebike needs hitch rack, just realized problem this creates

This works for me. Under $150.00, weighs only 34 pounds, 400 pound weight limit from discount ramps. Bike has logged over 6000 miles on the rack.

    Class 1 vs 3

like Alaskan, I tend to ride in the low 20's on public roads and bike lanes. There is no sticker on my bike that says it is a Class 3 and I don't see the downside to having more power when you need it. Actually, the only time I have ridden 28 mph or faster was going down hill and I start...

Good Luck! Slow for me so far. I hunt in NW Ga with my son. Hunted five times and haven't seen a deer. Almost all the pics on our cameras are at night. Won't be going back until Thanksgiving.

BIG rear rack for fat tire

Kolpins work fine for me. I like that they are offset leaving more room for my pack. My crossbow with scope, range finder and quiver of arrows weighs in at almost 11 pounds. Holds it rock solid over some pretty rugged terrain.

Which e-bike for a deer hunter?

Not necessarily. I have both and my quad does not go into the woods during hunting season. Some other considerations are: 1. Not every hunter has room to store a quad. 2. Not every hunter has a truck or trailer to transport the quad to the hunting property. 3. Not every hunting property...

BIG rear rack for fat tire

My fat tire bike came with a rear rack as an integral part of the frame. I also wanted something wider, so I bought this from Rad and bolted on to the existing rack. Works great for me.
