Not at all, feels fine.. very enjoyable. Just knowing it has more in it is a touch frustrating. They confirmed on the phone it can reach the higher speeds and they must have programmed a setting wrong on the controller.

Spoke to her on the phone today and she emailed me about the fenders once I got off the phone to her about 1pm this afternoon.

Now That’s the legal speed aye, but they have said on multiple occasions that the throttle de-restricts the speed to reach around 22mph. They’ve said that on a few Facebook posts and to me in person but I’m having no luck with it at the min.

About the fenders.. I also asked NewGen and they came back with this: “The Topeak Defendee XC1 fenders have been suggested by the team. We should hopefully get hold of our fenders in the next 4-6 weeks also for information.”

Cheers man, battery fully charged, can’t wait to get out on it tomorrow. The fenders are being re-developed by NewGen but until then there are holes in place to fit some from Amazon or something. I’m going to buy a set tomorrow and I’ll let you know how it goes.

Who's your guy on Insta if you don't mind me asking? I ordered mine end of May so according to their schedule I should not be receiving mine at the same time as someone who ordered mid July.

I rang them about 20 mins ago. They said they will be contacting people individually to let them know when their bike was being shipped.

Newgen have finally received the bike frames and they have been assembling them over the weekend and will be continuing over the next 2 weeks sending bikes out as and when they are built, obviously the first batch will be going out to the people who ordered first but good news finally for those...

I think that's what it is for me too, I travelled from Liverpool to London to ride both 250w and 750w bikes and I couldn't fault it, took my time looking it over, checking the build quality and talking to Marie about what she wants for the future of NewGen etc.. I've had a go on my mates S73 ZX...

Fully understand where you're coming from, I have considered all these things but I just don't like the Knaaps unfortunately, I also don't like that the ones I looked at didn't have suspension. I don't need the bike to hold much weight and my commute is only 7 miles total each day so the range...

Ahhh, really sorry to hear that mate. Hope you manage to find something. I've checked those other bikes out, seem great but for me, I can't sway from NewGen, love the design too much and if all failed I would go with Super73 because again it's that style that I love.

100%, I don't think they're going to want the bikes returning to them because they're already off to a rocky start with all this delivery chaos. Fingers crossed mate.

Hey guys, got a reply from NewGen, bike frames are currently in transit and they are expecting them end of the week with assembly beginning over the weekend.

I've emailed them but couldn't get through on their phone line. Will let you know if I get a response.

Hey Littleze, I'm contacting them shortly over the frames, I ordered back in May so I'm hopeful of delivery this/next week but not keeping my hopes too high. I'll let you know what they say when I get in touch.
