I think it‘s situational. The 20km ride to work yesterday, I used 17% battery. Motor was off for 78% of the time. The way home has more uphill, but I had strong headwind too, so that used 52% battery. Usually it only takes 25% but I needed the full assist (70% of the ride) to beat the wind and...

Yeah I got that part, sorry I was typing on the phone and it's not fun to quote from there. The 2x17.5 is from later on, and the following calculations are based on 25km. Or maybe I misread something, hope I didn't though.

Yeah I have the old Garmin Edge Explore and it's fine except the power sensor does not connect. I posted about that a few dozen pages back and got help re the MC and Ride apps. That aside it's really nice on the Vado SL. The original TCD mount is Garmin compatible too so it just fits right on.

Thank you Nubnub, that explains it. So if I want the full functionality, I should use the TCD and just take the Edge Explore for the map/nav when needed?
