I've put over 1000 miles on my sondors..... no head injuries, emotional stress, or space abductions :).... so far so good. Cheers mate, move along.

Thanks for that GS - dep on how I like my stealth bikes... I'll play with upgraded custom hub motors. Until then it's the cheapo off the shelf stuff.

Thx guys..... sondors motor seems to be OK now back with 36v/10ah battery (as rec by mfr :)))))) ..... perhaps it has clutchs that got overheated? and now OK? we'll see.... I've put 75 mi's since the bigger battery troubles ;)

LCD Controller arrived today from Shang-hai China. Paid +/-$50 several weeks ago... and it got here before the sondors LCD I ordered months ago :) If you are on the fence about the controller, this might tip you to get one... observations on my 26mi ride today with the LCD on the rear sondors...

thx ken. after looking at this front hub motor wheel.... I see a threaded boss on the hub for a cassette....... I wonder if I could install this in the rear wheel position, and fit the gear cassettte to this dir drive wheel? I got 25mph with a weak battery..... going to try a higher AH 36v...

I'll let my friend decide on the following things I would do if I kept it: 1. Cut the handle bars down... too wide. 2. keep the super padded seat in pic. 3. Paint rear rim black... up to him.

Tested a 48v lunacycle battery on the stock sondors rear hub motor/controller, and resulted in a nice bump in tq..... but the gear set started to complain. I do have just over 1020 miles on the sondors, so perhaps a little tired too?. I put the stock 36v battery back on the rear motor and...

I just completed a 30miler this AM...... using the stock sondors 36v battery on the rear hub motor... and no issues at all.... perhaps the gears/or clutchs (if there are any) got over heated? This sondors is a fabulous bike, for the price, or any price for that matter.... it is the 57 chevy...

Just got my UPS msg... sondors LCD shipped this week... should be here this weekend. Wahoo it's like christmas for an old man.

You might try to disconnect the PAS cable. I have a controller that acts like this when I use the Pedal Assist feature...... as soon as the computer senses pedalling.... it just ramps the throttle to wide-open position until you stop pedalling or hit the brakes.

Cool bike. I can't help but notice the absence of a team member w eng degree background on their team. Are there any U.S. Regs on safe bike ore bike design calcs and safety factors? Or do they leave this to the China mnfr?
