    Stromer regen braking?

Yes, I see what you mean. I'd say, there is a downside to the brake level pull (and all regen, really), is that the regen is applied with no "feathering". It clicks on and clicks off (it lacks the subtlety of traditional brakes). So if you have the brake level regen set high, you may find the...

    Stromer regen braking?

The regen you get by pulling the brake lever slightly, is not affected by anything in the recup settings. There is a separate setting for adjusting how intense regen you get when you pull the brake; but that’s a separate setting. how’s that for a short answer?!

    Stromer regen braking?

Here's my way to long description of why I love and how I use regen on my ST3 Pinion. I live in a hilly area... so recup is very useful for me. Although most folks don't think there could be a use of recup in flat areas... as a simple substitute for squeezing the brake levers... but there is...

    Gazelle C380+

Got mine a few days ago. Happy with it. A bit concerned about range. But learning to live just jumping on it for errands and other quick trips around town. Still love my road bike. Having both us very interesting.

Sorry for my late follow up on my test ride of the DŌST Kope CVT. As I mentioned earlier, I am relatively new to the world of eBikes. I have been riding road bikes for some decades… I am well (very) into my 60’s… and I live in the hilly side of Oakland, CA. Even modest rides here involve 1-2k...

Dost announces CVT belt drive models

Will do. Tho as a newbie (to electrics… I am a road cyclist), I hope my perceptions and descriptions will be useful. As far as DOST having dealers goes, I haven’t heard or read about that. As far as I know other than some local (BC) shops, I believe they are direct to consumers shipped from BC.

Dost announces CVT belt drive models

For me... a newbie, early in my research, sure, I feel the combo of mid-drive with Enviolo hub with belt drive is an ideal combo. Surely the lack of torque sensing is a big drawback (and I assume that's coming in a future incarnation... maybe in the Fate model). But I hear the 24 magnets (vs 12)...
