Charger Clicking - Red/Green lights alternating

UPDATE: Well Pedego Customer Service got right back to me. To paraphrase his answer...."There is an one explanation on why that happens however the best one is just to send you a new charger." UPS Tracking number received. It never gets old.......well done Pedego! o_O Hello Great Customer...

Dave I must confess I'm liking it more than I thought and glad that I got it instead of the Quick E....maybe in part to the 'deal'. It's been a great work out which has had a dramatic effect on my tricky lower back! I went thru quite an odyssey trying different full wrap fender options that...

Charger Clicking - Red/Green lights alternating

Normally the Interceptor battery gets charged off the bike and does the usual fan noise, red (orange) light on until the battery is charged then it turns to green....straight forward. Yesterday my wife connected the charger to the battery while on the bike and in the morning when I checked it...

    Possible Giant Hack

Good idea, it's certainly not going to do any harm to try it. I also believe that this might work as my wife's Pedego is capable of changing the maximum speed on the throttle right in the controller set up menu settings. I realize that it has a different motor and electronics however the...

    Possible Giant Hack

That's interesting, it will be good when you can confirm that you're getting assistance up to the US Quickie E+ limit of 28mph. Some time ago another poster mentioned that his LBS did some button pressing to allow a US customer to take a demo ride on a bike capable of 28mph as he didn't have...

    Trek Powerfly 5 for commuting?

Well that depends on the bike frame. The rear fenders stay attach around the axle so if you inspect that area of the frame where they normally screw into, on the inside sometimes too, and the other attachment point is an L bracket to that usual cross member piece on the rear stays. The pic on...

    Trek Powerfly 5 for commuting?

I think the only thing you're going to have trouble with is the fenders. Given the 2.35" width tires you might want to look at the SKS Bluemels 75 U (https://www.sks-germany.com/en/products/bluemels-75-u/) They're a new release, Sept '18, which are essentially full wrap for 27.5-29 wheels and...

Now that you know how to set the speed limitations for the UK have you tried to do the 'light' button clicks to get other market speeds?

    SKS Bluemels 75 U

I ordered a set yesterday for my '18 Giant Dirt E+ 2. I wanted full wrap fenders as the bike really won't be used for off road but more recreational rides. They work for both the 27.5 and 29" wheels and front suspension. I'll post some pics of them when they're installed.....hopefully.

    Possible Giant Hack

There was a post in the Giant brand forum regarding the Quick E. The poster said that the dealer changed the speed limiter on one of the bikes in the shop to allow the customer to get a sense of the 28mph that some models come with from the factory. The maximum speed for the throttle on Pedego...

    Fenders for Trek PowerFly 5

I have the local Trek dealer emailing to see when these 75 U's will be available in Canada. They seem like the ticket for me, basically full wrap for a front suspension bike with 2.4/2.25 tires.

Where to acquire a Giant Energypack 500 in US?

Might sound obvious but have you gone to a local Giant store? I asked this question locally and they said they can just order another one. Giant is the largest bike manufacturer in the world by revenue and supplies Trek, Scott and Calnago with many of their models.
