Bosch owners, do you know this noise?

Thanks for the info. This is before and after for reference: Before (and it was more obnoxious in person): After (AHHHH):

Bosch owners, do you know this noise?

I don’t have any experience with chains and length. I would assume that a chain made for a system, such as NX Eagle which mine has, would be a standard length. It’s not something I would think to check. Nor do I have any idea why a new bike would come with a chain that was too long. However...

Bosch owners, do you know this noise?

I got pretty deep into this. I had communications with Performancelinebearings.com (Peter is awesome). After sending some photos we decided everything looked right. Many people told me it was normal, no one knew anything else to tell me, and I finally gave up. But guess what? It's FIXED! I KNEW...

SHOW us YOUR PIX here .... Odd, WeiRd ,UnUSuAl or EyE CaTchIng things from your rides

Beautiful photos. I get some neck burn on my rides also, on my Vado and mountain bike both. I think coming more upright is the only solution unless exercises can make your neck more flexible. I have a 50mm riser bar on the Vado, which helps, and a riser bar and 28 degree stem on the MTB.

I thought something smelled like a fireplace, and then I came around a corner to this. Nothing like a forest fire to make the day more interesting! I figured with the truck tracks there I'd be fine, but it did get a bit warm. And a lot smokey 😁 A little later I saw this. That smoke, even a...

Curious how others feel about class 3 speeds

The primary reason we don’t see hub drives on “real” mountain bikes is because of unsprung weight, correct? I could never ride the bumpy trails I ride with a hub motor in my wheel...

Haibike Urban Plus 2017 - The most exciting Urban E-bike!

I think that’s a cool bike, and I almost bought one when the 2017s were on sale. I’m glad I didn’t, but if I had, and I had a motor problem, it seems it would be worth it to pay $900 for a new one? Unless they just have a high rate of early failure. You could replace it with a Giant Fastroad EX...

Modular Rail System (MRS) accessories - Where to buy

@mikegs430 So that mount is obviously way different than what I installed and described. Did it go on easily?

    Haibike SES jockey wheel noise?

Not that I didn't believe you rich c, just was getting conflicting info. I have two people with my exact same bike saying theirs are quiet and don't sound like mine in the video! I find the noise pretty annoying. I was out for a couple hours in the brush yesterday and it's just constant...

    Haibike SES jockey wheel noise?

Peter at Performance Line Bearings was really helpful in determining whether this noise is normal or a problem with alignment, etc. They sell modified Haibike SES jockey wheel bearings which are dissassembled and packed with waterproof grease. These should last much longer than the stock...

Haibike Sdurro FullSeven LT 9.0 in the house...

You will find many threads on bars by searching. The second photo of my bike in this thread shows Deity 50mm risers, and they also make 80mm. If you are buying a dedicated mountain bike it would be unusual to be able to see behind you, but possible with mirrors.

Haibike Sdurro FullSeven LT 9.0 in the house...

I would answer that question if I could but there are too many variables for it to be meaningful. So far I've ridden up to 2.5 hours on trails in a large preserve and not used more than 50%, using Eco and Tour, but that doesn't really mean much...

Haibike Sdurro FullSeven LT 9.0 in the house...

I'm going to drop this into this thread because it describes replacing the Haibike S. E. S. pulley wheel bearing, and also replacing the primary sprocket with less expensive SRAM and Miranda parts: https://www.emtbforums.com/community/threads/ses-sprocket-fix-sort-of.1865/

Haibike Sdurro FullSeven LT 9.0 in the house...

@bob armani does your bike have the pulley, and is it quiet? rich c says his 2016 sounds like this. But now Mike says his new bike(s) just like mine does not. I did a couple of things with it today. I removed the chain guard again and lifted it above the pulley wheel while turning the pedals...

Yes, it does sound like that. I haven't had any luck figuring out what it is. Going to see if I can get with Haibike support...

Nice looking trail. I have two logs exactly like that on one of my rides. I haven’t gotten there yet. On a dirt bike I wouldn’t have thought twice about it, but I feel like I’m gonna bust my a55. Been trying to figure fast or slow...

Man that's really cool. I just checked mine and for whatever reason mine only flex above that spanning connector, behind the seat post? What I keep looking at though is that mess of cables at the front. I may try to tame those with some cable ties. Could you tell me if your bikes sound like the...

Well, I took that out because this is about unusual photos... They are called "colts." And yes I had to look it up! I'm no bird expert I just like watching them 😁

I took this is the reserve a couple of weeks ago. After I took it I rode by them within about 5 feet. They casually walked in the direction away from me, and they were wary, but not afraid. Even with the little one. I can't imagine walking up and shooting one. I have heard that large Herons...

I’ve never heard of hunting them. That would be highly upsetting. Everyone loves them here - we stop traffic to watch them dawdle across the roads... Oh, and we have “Sandhill Crane Area” road signs...
