    Lectric Folding e-Trike

We used to have an Addmotor e trike for my wife. She thought she would feel more stable on three wheels than two, but the opposite happened and she could not adjust to how the trike handled, so thus we both are back on two wheels.

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

This month we are in Homestead, Florida. Nice weather around 80-85 degrees. Flat terrain here makes for easy riding.

    Used E - bike Questions

That is the control to shift gears. If you have a hub drive bike, it will not change anything performance or speed wise. With a mid drive the gear selector will make a difference as you are peddling.

Best Rock Ever? Nominations, No Air Supply!

As a bassist myself, I always admired Geddy Lee from Rush. For a 3 man band, they always seemed to reinvent themselves with every album. From a technical perspective, very challenging to play with odd time signatures as well. Dream Theater would be another choice, and I would add Lynyrd Skynyrd...

    Camping, Glamping, Bikamping

I put enough preload on my tie down straps to overcome the suspension. No issues at all.

    What is History to You?

I am a big fan of history, however, I do not subscribe to the politically correct version of it. It saddens me to see everyone’s history in the USA honored, except our own. The current culture is using todays guidelines for judging all in the past. The changing of names of streets, schools...

    Camping, Glamping, Bikamping

Here is how we store the bikes in the garage. I have tied loops from rope which is on the handlebars of each bike, then using the loop I connect a ratchet tie down to each side and secure them to the d rings on the garage floor.

Our Rides in Words, Photos & Videos

Awesome!! That is my bike shop as well. We are limited on space and I did not sign up for the raffle. Great bike for sure! Congrats!

    Camping, Glamping, Bikamping

My wife and I glamp for sure. We carry our e bikes in the back of our RV. Our RV is a Riverstone 37 FLTH toy hauler. She is 21,000 pounds loaded.

Best trunk rack for MIK racks

I like them very much. Expensive, but well built. With the MIK mount system installation and removal is so easy too. I always carry a lot of stuff in mine from tools, tubes, locks…always nice to have what I need. With an e bike, you will hardly notice the extra weight of the bags.

    Ebike bumper stickers

I used to on an old truck I had. My front bumper was a 6 foot piece of railroad track.

    Winter Sucks

Our bikes are parked for now in the garage in the RV. We get a short winter this year, as we will be in Florida and a warm climate after the first of the year! Sounds like an extended riding season to me!!

    New to e-bikes…

Welcome!! Sounds like you made a couple fine choices on the e bikes. I think you’ll love them!! We are RVers too and go the “other” way and have a 42 foot fifth wheel pulled by my Ram turbo diesel dually. E bikes are a great fit with the rv for sure and I find trails somewhere everywhere we...

What -- even remotely related to your ebike -- are you thankful for?

Very sorry to hear this and very happy you did have your helmet! I wish you a speedy recovery on your arm as well!

What -- even remotely related to your ebike -- are you thankful for?

I am grateful to be retiring at the end of the year. This can be tied to our e bikes as we will be going to Florida in the RV for January and February. So…..with warmer climates being more conducive for riding there we go.

Perception from other cyclists when on a moped style ebike?

Have you considered an e trike? My wife used to have one and it had a huge payload! No kick stand to worry about either, and that said I needed to keep a Velcro strap on the trike to use as a parking brake with one of the brake levers. I found the e trike very easy and practical. Our issue...
