On the 3 speed hub you need to make your cable adjustment in 2nd gear. Adjust your cable length at the adjuster until the yellow line is in line with the marks on the housing. On my Dekra, I mounted a mirror to help ease this since my mount was a bit different with shaft drive.

We visited Beauvoir here in Biloxi as well. Surprisingly Hurricane Katrina did only minor damage. A neat museum with a lot of history.

I have the chain for my Gazelle and it is not long enough to do what you are asking. You can secure the frame, but the front wheel would be quite a stretch.

I think you are looking at some great choices. I went the Gazelle route and have been super happy! Other than the MIK rack system, Suntour suspension seat post and panniers, mine is stock. No complaints from me at all.

I use a cheap mirror that clips to the frame of my glasses. Lightweight and easy and never in the way.

My range will vary with speed and terrain as well. I always carry my charger with me just in case. I figure it is fairly easy to find a house or business and throw the owner $5.00 for a charge if needed.

Usually just my iPhone. When I do want a better or faster shot I will grab my Nikon D500. Plenty fast and the 18-200mm lens is good for about anything I need to do.

My latest ride was The Withlacootchie State Trail in Inverness FL. It is a 42 mile paved rail trail. I only did 30 miles of it but it was beautiful!!
