    Class 1 vs 3

    I very very rarely go above 22-23mph on my class 3 but when I do it's good to know that I don't have to peddle a 50lb bike without any assistance at all. It's not so good to know that if I get into an accident with another person I'm screwed because most of my riding is on a bike path, however...

    Anyone clearcoated their ebike ?

    Strictly film. Didn't know of a spray. Wouldn't be as equal in protection I'd imagine. After which I'd treat it like a car finish by using a sealant or wax. Instead of wax on the matte finished areas, I'd use 303 Aerospace Protectant (great product) to keep the matte appearance. Fun stuff.

    Anyone clearcoated their ebike ?

    Yes, 2 years ago, I did the entire bike except the fenders, handlebar and motor. I had to buy matte finish and glossy. Turned out well. Still looking clean. I used Xpel for the matte and 3M for the glossy. Runs into a few bucks but worth it. A labor of love.
