That is a GREAT tip for me ! Thank you so much ! As I commute from work back home in pitch black, the Purion display shines like a star and blinds me. I toned down the backlight illumination as you described. It helps a lot but still looking for a way how to turn it off completely.

Just got my first flat tire at 530 miles ridden on my stock G-One Performance tires. Is the a pretty normal interval for punctures? I only ride on paved suburban roads. Thinking if maybe getting some more durable tires would help.

TREK PowerFly 5 with Bosch performance speed motor. I weight 155 pounds. Can reach 28 mph quite easily.

I am aware of losing some pedaling efficiency when riding barefoot. But it's the price I am willing to pay for the extra comfort I get :)

My pedals have spikes on them. I don't mind those on flat terrain but since half of my daily commute is pushing hard uphill (1500 feet) I put thin foam covers over the pedals to get better grip with my bare feet. I cut those out of a yoga mat.

Those Luna chargers look interesting. I am thinking about getting one for charging my Bosch PowerPack 500. Is anyone using Luna chargers to charge Bosch batteries?

Just curious if anyone else prefers riding barefoot weather permitting. I have been running barefoot for over 7 years and hardly ever use shoes now. Anything on my feet feels uncomfortable so I ditched shoes when commuting on my bike as well.

Just wondering if someone has any experience with Velocare. Thinking about their 3 year plan for $165. Considering my daily commute which is quite demanding on my bike something can wear out sooner then expected. Are the repairs under their plans hassle free ? Daniel

I use Garmin Connect. It gives me the report with numbers. I just colored it in Google Sheets and added the map with profile printscreening Google Earth.

Here is a monthly report of my daily commute: Have to charge my 500 Bosch PowerPack on every other night.

I can confirm. They told me the same here in my local bike shop where I bought mine. Trek won't be selling this bike to civilians any more. They are only selling to Police at this time.

No puncture issues with G-One Performance tires. I hope it's going to stay that way.
