Managed to drive over charger Rosenberger plug.

Anyone try replacing the rosenburger plug? I've found this part # C003-03-2000-C and it looks right - but it has 3 extra pins in the plug, and I'm guessing extra wires as well. Also noticed that the reinforcement on the charger brick seems to be part of the cable sheathing. Wasn't sure if that...

Turbo como 2.0 firmware 7.1.1 slowed bike considerably

Turbo studio shows no updates available. That said they do show that certain motors can’t go beyond 7.1.1 currently. The software mentioned that ALU motors aren’t currently updatable to anything beyond 7.1.1. So it sounds like a case where the release notes and the nitty gritty details...

Turbo como 2.0 firmware 7.1.1 slowed bike considerably

Bike shows 20MPH, but also doesn’t seem to have firmware that is compatible with its motor beyond 7.1.1 So it’s got a non-customer facing firmware for the motor and no way to get it off. Is it possible to be downgraded?

Turbo como 2.0 firmware 7.1.1 slowed bike considerably

Turns out we weren’t crazy. Direct from the Mission Control app - 7.1.1 isn’t a standard firmware. Looks like our LBS may have mis-loaded the firmware. Buzzkill, but at least there’s a reason. Does anyone know the correct current firmware for a 2018 Como 2.0? I have a feeling I might need to...

Turbo como 2.0 firmware 7.1.1 slowed bike considerably

Brought my wife’s bike in for brake service and they updated the firmware to 7.1.1. The bike is now roughly 2 miles an hour slower at the top end. It used to be that it would “surf” with the assist helping up to 20-20.2 mph easily, with moderate effort in the top gear. Now with the same...

    Como 2.0 chain slap/derailleur tension

    I. Am. Psyched. Thanks to the efforts of @TS25 and @Stefan Mikes - this. bike. is. perfect...again. Did it need a new derailleur? Maybe. Did is need a new cassette? Possibly. Did it need it's SECOND new chain in like 200 miles? Probably not. But did it need that new Deckas chainring, and 2...

    Como 2.0 chain slap/derailleur tension

I feel like a ding dong. Thank you very much for the help! Most of the bolts I've seen on amazon aren't exactly 8x8 - should I continue searching until I find exactly that - or contact the LBS maybe for an easier search?

    Como 2.0 chain slap/derailleur tension

Just got the Deckas 104BCD - right number of teeth, and right bolt pattern, but not pre-threaded, and the chaingard holes don't line up. Back to the drawing board!

    Como 2.0 chain slap/derailleur tension

Went ahead and purchased the Deckas 104BCD narrow/wide 40t. You can literally feel the new chain sticking the old chainring. For sure the experience of just trying to get this addressed has been eye opening- bike shops don't know what they're selling, and haven't got much skill in advocating...

    Como 2.0 chain slap/derailleur tension

Sorry to have gone dark here for a while, death in the family (non-covid, but still crappy). Managed to get things sorted with a lot of adjustment. That said - tended to end up with adjustments that didn't take because of a too loose barrel adjuster at the shifter, and because the derailleur...

    Como 2.0 chain slap/derailleur tension

Adjusted the chain into the correct teeth. Cleaned the whole drivetrain, and also noticed that after the latest chain went on, it looks like the shifter cable has been adjusted about 1/2" 'tighter' than it was. Also turns out, I can't get back into the high gear - it stops one gear shy. I'll...

    Como 2.0 chain slap/derailleur tension

Thanks for the replies all - sorry to be short on details earlier. Coming up to speed slowly and didn't honestly know enough to know what was important. I really appreciate the attention and effort! The ODO shows 1795. Not sure if the chain is mounted correctly, or if the entire setup is...

    Como 2.0 chain slap/derailleur tension

New chain recently, plenty of goop on the derailleur that could be cleaned off. Other than that just new brake pads. Chain came from a non-ebike shop.

    Como 2.0 chain slap/derailleur tension

My wife has a 2018 Como 2.0 stepthru that we’re seeing some new behavior with. It seems to have lessened the strength of power delivery (noticeable on hills) It has a mechanical clicking sound coming from the front chain ring (the one attached to the pedals) The chain seems to go slack every...
