I have tried the TAB. It does help topping out on the mountains. I also noticed the display at times reads at or near 1000 Watts when using TAB or Turbo setting. Oddly, sometimes setting 3 seems to offer more assist than the sport mode.

Get ready to wait. It took mine two months to the day to arrive. Use your time to research upgrades. For a long commute I would highly recommend a comfortable seat. Upgraded seatpost. Some type of large rear storage container. Definitely get a mirror.

I cut my 42 mile round trip in half on my CCS. I was anywhere from 2hr 15min to as fast as 1hr 45min one way on my road bike. I cut it down to 57 min as my fastest time so far. Whatever you get, I'm sure you will still get a workout!

Make sure it's not damaged. My wife's bike took quite a beating. Now it's in the LBS due to shipping damage.
