    I never saw this before.

I also like to travel at 12-15 mph. Another problem we see on our multi-use trail is walkers with earbuds walking in the middle or on the wrong side. We also see groups of walkers taking up the entire width. When we pass with a “on your left” we sometimes get a dirty look.

How to get fast, steady acceleration from start on the 700

Yes, but I don’t think she’s happy with my decision to buy the R1U bikes. We have a couple Rad’s that we keep in FL. and she loves hers. Thanks for asking.

    I never saw this before.

We went to our local bike trail today and they had signs with 15 mph speed limit posted on the trail. I've been riding there for years and never saw them before. Must be for us E-bike folks.

How to get fast, steady acceleration from start on the 700

Well it happened today, my wife went down making a turn. Wrong gear, wrong power level. I think she understands why it happened, but I'm not sure. She is 70 and I don't think she likes this bike. Her words, "This bike is too fast".

    Trek townie intermittent switch problem.

Clean the terminals on the display and the receptacle where it mounts. I had a problem similar and that’s what Bosch recommended. I hope that works,

How to get fast, steady acceleration from start on the 700

Yah, it is a concern. I rode MC's for over 50 years and raced dirt bikes so I can handle it, but my wife can barely ride a bicycle.

How to get fast, steady acceleration from start on the 700

We have 2 new 700's and the power assist is very abrupt. I can handle it but very concerned for my wife (we are old). The other day I was riding in the neighborhood and went to do a u-turn in the road and half way thru the turn I touch the pedal and almost lost control. After that happened I...

    Anyone change your kickstand?

I never liked a center mounted side stand, for obvious reasons. Has anyone changed out their stand for something else. I've been looking at clamp on stands but I'm unsure which to buy.

    Brake light?

Thanks for the reply, yes I know about the lights, but I'm surprised that they don't have a stop light. Like I said my Rad City has a stop light that comes on when either brake is applied.

    Brake light?

Dumb question, do the 700 series bike have a brake light, if yes they aren't working? My Rad's do. We often (used to) ride in groups, and I think it's a good thing to have.

Inexpensive insurance option for State Farm policyholders

This is very interesting, we just cancelled our policy that covered our 4 E-bikes. It was over $600 and we decided to take our chances. We also have State Farm, I will be checking with my agent. Thanks, Gene Edit: Jeremy, what state do you live in? My agent doesn't know anything about this, they...

    Heart Rate Monitor Recommendations

I wear a lowly Fitbit Versa, it maps my ride, tells me my distance, heart rate, avg. mph, elevation gain and more.
