Lectric XP - does the frame match the rear hub?

To me this suggests perhaps the washers were installed incorrect at factory??? http://www.ebikeschool.com/install-hub-motor-washers/

it looks to me that the interior washer is just a spacer. If there is one on each side, it might fit if you remove them. But then the chain, or brake, might rub. Hard to know without trying it ;) Try this;)...

We do not know what the frame is made off. Some aluminium bends fine. Some falls apart. I'm guessing this frame was made from old aluminium cans

I think I read someplace Lectric were going to make a video of fixing a rear flat tire. This should be interesting. You have to know they are reading this. If they have sent out thousands of bikes with a hub that does not fit in the frame. That could be a problem!

I wonder if you could walk it home using the throttle (not walk mode since that is probably too fast)? Can you tie one side of the frame to an imovable object, then pull on the other side, either by hand or winch?

How much space are we talking about here? A couple of mm might just be too much paint on inside of dropout. A cm or more probably indicates they used the wrong frame for the hub (or the wrong hub for the frame). This would not be good. That is unnecessary, and perhaps damaging, stress on the...

Bike battery. 48v 10.4ah = 468 wh Most vehicles operate on 12v, so, 468 wh / 12v = 39 ah Allow for inefficiencies 39/.8 is about 50 ah at 12v A 200w solar panel will deliver about 200w/12v*6h = 100ah at 12v That maybe optimistic, if is was cloudy. So lets call it 50 ah at 12v About what it...

I have not had to do this yet. I'm an Early September (hopefully) delivery. And this is my first bike with disc brakes. A quick google search found and https://www.montaguebikes.com/folding-bikes-blog/2013/08/adjusting-mechanical-disc-brakes/ I'm not sure i'd be spraying silicone until I at...

If you do not like the shipping delay, go ahead and cancel your order. Buy something else. That means we might get them faster ;) I bought one on speculation. I suspect they will be good value, and actually deliver. Frankly, if they are as described, I likely pay 1099 for a couple more. I'd...

It would be nice to separate "when will I get my bike" from "first rides" and potentially "what should I do next"

Can you change the speed of each PAS mode? My understanding each PAS mode just deliveres more voltage to the motor. I have not got my bike yet. Suspect mid September deliver. Yes, I am chomping at the bit waiting for my first e-bike. I'm tempted to disable PAS and just throttle when I need a...
