Known Issues & Problems with ECOTRIC Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I just looked online and got a 3" extender. It was still too low, so I got another 3" extender. I like it now. I am 6'3". This is on a 26 fat tire Ecotrix. The only modification to the controls was a 5.5" longer front brake cable. I got it at a Yamaha shop. They custom-made it for me.

    RAtBuilders Controller Project,

This is just an up-date. It is only 30 degrees here today, but I took the 20" folder out for a SHORT ride today, and it is soooo awesome!!! There is no more surging, there is just smooth predictable power delivery in pedal assist mode. There is absolutely no comparison to the 810 controller...

    RAtBuilders Controller Project,

Hi Harry. I used a multi meter and discovered that the brake switches are normally open. So that makes perfect sense that they hook up to the two connectors that have 3 wires that are all Y together. I think that I understand now. Thanks again for your help. I found some very small slide...

    RAtBuilders Controller Project,

Thank you sooooo much for the reply. The unit is an LCD3. I bought the left hand throttle just for the heck of it, and it also has the red, black, and white wire coming off of it, and it will plug into the red, black, and white connector on the LCD3. It will also plug into the red, black, and...

New to Battery powered Bikes, and lovin it!

Thanks CodyDog. It keeps me out of the bars. LOL I just installed my driveline tonight. Had to lengthen it a little. Sadly, all of my toys need warmer weather. It is going to get 16 degrees tonight and tomorrow the high will be 37. Thank heavens my shop has a heater.

Known Issues & Problems with ECOTRIC Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I am sorry for being such a question type of guy, but the link confuses me. I do want to order the whole kit, is the part # 6MOSFET? Does the kit contain a KTLCD8H display? Do you have to order each part separately, or will it all be in the kit? See, I am just chuck-full of questions...

Known Issues & Problems with ECOTRIC Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Thanks HarryS, for the information. The Hot Rod took 3 years to build. I hope that I have few issues with the 20". Does it get rid of all the surging and make the throttle more user friendly? Again, thanks for the information.

Known Issues & Problems with ECOTRIC Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Hi HarryS. I have a 26" fat tire Ecotric bike, and I love it. My Girlfriend is only 5'4" tall, so she could never ride a bike like mine. I bought her a 20" Ecotric folding bike, and it fits her just fine. The problem is the 810 controller. Unless you are going up a hill the power delivery...

New to Battery powered Bikes, and lovin it!

A few months ago, I bought a Ecotric Fat tire 26" bike. I am 73 years old, and I do not have the stamina that I once did. LOL I live in South Eastern Idaho and we have lots of paved bike paths around here. I really enjoy my bike. I bought a 20" Ecotric for my girlfriend, and that is the...
