NEW Juiced Models: Rip Current, and Cross Current X; Tariff Pricing Announced

It doesn't seem like criticism is allowed on this board without you harping on the person. So unfortunately no one voices your opinion because you come along and try to shut them down. Just being truthful here. I, just like you and others, have bought this bike. I think we're entitled to our...

NEW Juiced Models: Rip Current, and Cross Current X; Tariff Pricing Announced

True. I think my best bet is probably just to buy a spare controller and store it incase I ever need it in the future. Better safe than sorry, and it'll be good to have one in case anything ever does happen in the future and they're not available.

NEW Juiced Models: Rip Current, and Cross Current X; Tariff Pricing Announced

The CCS has 0, Eco, 1, 2, 3, and S. I'm pretty sure it's the same as the air. The CCX has 0, Eco, 1, 2, 3, S, and R. My guess is that the R mode is where you're running into the higher amps from the controller and creating more heat.

NEW Juiced Models: Rip Current, and Cross Current X; Tariff Pricing Announced

That's kind of a poor comparison. Automotive manufacturers don't redesign their vehicles every year, there is a few years of using the same everything. They do them in generations. The Impala for example is on its 10th Generation. I'm sure a piece of equipment from a 73 Impala would be identical...

NEW Juiced Models: Rip Current, and Cross Current X; Tariff Pricing Announced

I agree. The value behind these bikes is nice. I love my CCS, and when guests come by they love the old CC. I'm just hoping that 2 years down the line if I have a controller issue I'm not stuck with a discontinued controller that I can't buy a replacement for because it's an older generation...

NEW Juiced Models: Rip Current, and Cross Current X; Tariff Pricing Announced

I honestly don't get what the motor would have to do with the controller. Controller is a 25 amp controller. The CCS is a 20. That's not a huge difference. Maybe I'm wrong though. I understand the possibility of it being too big in terms of its dimensions, because of the bigger down tube on the...

Is there a way to check total mileage on the display?

If you look at the new details of the CCX it mentions Odometer and Trip meter in the features of the display, along with the new wh/mi efficiency feature. The CCS only has a trip meter. It doesn't get reset if you remove the battery and is only reset if you hold down the power and minus ...

NEW Juiced Models: Rip Current, and Cross Current X; Tariff Pricing Announced

I'm pretty sure it'll come with the front fender. The CCS came with it but wasn't attached the bike on delivery.

NEW Juiced Models: Rip Current, and Cross Current X; Tariff Pricing Announced

CCS has a 20 peak amp controller. 48*20=960. on the LCD display you will notice if you are in sport mode from a stop holding the throttle and pedaling hard that you will be in the 900-watt area.

NEW Juiced Models: Rip Current, and Cross Current X; Tariff Pricing Announced

    I'd say so. Even on paper it's a noticable difference. CC - rated 350W / 624W Peak CCS - rated 650W / 960W Peak

NEW Juiced Models: Rip Current, and Cross Current X; Tariff Pricing Announced

I believe that if you're upgrading the controller to be the same as the CCS it's recommend you have the larger battery. 12.8 and above. It's mentioned here. (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) This is partly why I just went with getting a whole new CCS when I really want to upgrade my CC. The...

HF1000 after 3k miles - thoughts and opinions

I wish there was a page that has detailed information on the motor that's on our CCS's with all the torque ratings etc. When I type in the model number that's on the actual motor, I get tons of different results from Google.

Difference between 19.2 and 21AH batteries

    Gotcha. Thanks for the information.

Difference between 19.2 and 21AH batteries

So does that mean if I replaced all the cells in my 12.8 battery for a bunch of 3.6ah cells it would make it a 14.4ah battery?

Difference between 19.2 and 21AH batteries

The one that confuses me on their chart is the 48 volt batteries. It says both have 52 cells, but one is 8.8ah and the other is 12.8ah Isn't that just each cell is rated differently in terms of capacity?

Report of my first 4000 miles on a CCS (also my first 5 months of owning it)

I'm hoping they make it upgradable. If you look at the specifications for the CCX, under the frame area, it mentioned it has the pass through for the wires feature. I'm not too sure if this makes the bottom area a little bit wider. If so that may mean the controller has more room. This CCX...

    cross current s question(s)

I got a rear flat (on my Marathon tires!) about 3 miles from home. I used the walk mode the entire way home. There was a difference between using it and not using it. It was helpful.
