CCS owners, what power level do you use most of the time?

I ride in 1 almost constantly. Maintaining 20-22 is easy and at least when the battery is well charged, getting up to that speed doesn't feel sluggish at all. And that's the reason I ride in 1.... when the battery gets too depleted everything gets sluggish no matter what boost level you're at...

    Charging a CCS

I am using a Luna charger with the 17.4a (4-pin XLR) battery. Juiced ships with a 4-pin XLR to 5.5mm adapter (that's how they make the 4-pin XLR work with their own charger). So, you don't need to worry about adapting to 4-pin XLR, you just need to adapt from whatever your charger is putting out...

How to Best Charge Battery for Longest Life

I've also been looking at the Luna Blue charger and they carry a 3-pin XLR adapter but not a 4-pin one. I emailed them and they recommended cutting the end off of the stock charger and soldering it on. If anyone has found an adapter that works with the Luna Blue charger, post a link here please.

I saw you asking about the Luna charger with the CCS on the forums. Did you ever go down that...

I saw you asking about the Luna charger with the CCS on the forums. Did you ever go down that route? You said you think it would work fine with the available adapter - I asked Luna if they have a 4-pin XLR adapter - they said no and suggested I cut off the plug from the original charger and...

    CrossCurrent S - New Model

*sigh* Suggesting and expecting are very different things. What's happened is exactly what I expected and I've been clear about that throughout this thread. I'm neither surprised nor that upset about the delays and changes. Minorly bummed, sure. It's gorgeous out and I'd love to be riding that...

    CrossCurrent S - New Model

I'm suggesting they offer a $99 (less for them) upgrade. You're suggesting they give away a $1,700-$2,200 product. Whatever you feel is deserved, which do you think is more likely to happen (not likely, just more likely)? Not mutually exclusive. They do have more transparency than many other...

    CrossCurrent S - New Model

Huh. I kinda remember that warning coming up well after pre-orders started, but I definitely could be mis-remembering. Funny you mention that. One of my team members was just in NYC for a conference so he dropped by their shop to test-drive the Continuum. He LOVED it. He won't stop talking...

    CrossCurrent S - New Model

I think it's pretty apparent at this point that they did not expect to sell out the entire first container as pre-orders. All the language they had on their site during the pre-order period and all that has happened since points to this. They said that all pre-orders would arrive late August and...

    CrossCurrent S - New Model

I don't feel entitled to a free upgrade eBikeHigh (sorry, I think you edited your post after posting, but you previously said I felt entitled to such). I suggested it would be good customer service. Remember, we're in agreement that juiced has plenty of room for customer service improvements...

    CrossCurrent S - New Model

It's really a bummer that several of you have reported no responses to your emails. Here's a trick I've learned - it's better to open a new ticket rather than reply to an ongoing thread if you want a quick response. Every time I've opened a new ticket I've gotten a quick response, but I've never...

    CrossCurrent S - New Model

Nope, it depends on the options you picked. I'm 20xx as well, and I'm not getting a bike from the first container (which I'm fine with as I knew that was a possibility). I've checked in with the sales staff every couple of weeks, and right now I'm looking at early November.

    CrossCurrent S - New Model

I don't disagree with your logic. For you, the value proposition is a lot different than for me. For what you're trying to achieve, a full car replacement, and with a $2,500 alternative that you'd be happy with, the math is significant and in hindsight, buying a different bike in May may have...

    CrossCurrent S - New Model

I wouldn't use the word risky. I associate a risky transaction with one which has a chance of leading to me either losing my money or not getting value for my money. In this case, I am very confident that I will either a. receive a bike that delivers at least as much value as what I paid, or b...

    CrossCurrent S - New Model

@ebikeHIgh It's truly a bummer you've had a bad experience. It sounds like for you, getting a bike that's already completed design and is from a larger manufacturer that does larger manufacturing batches might be a better fit. I'm used to pre-ordering / early adopting technology and I can tell...

    CrossCurrent S - New Model

Hey all, I wrote Juiced to ask about the battery-related delays, and here is Tora's response: The packs and the bikes arrive separately as they are made in different factories. Some 21's arrived. For some reason the some of the 17.4 Ah packs arrived later due to some logistics issue that we...

    CrossCurrent S - New Model

Anxiously awaiting mine as well. It will be my first e-bike. I have an 11 mile commute each way, which I only do about once a week once I factor in how long it takes (morning meetings often prevent me from bike commuting), how sweaty I am when I get there, and how tired I sometimes am after a...
