2020 Allant 9.9S Grinding Noise from motor or is it?

Sounds like it matches up with your pedaling cadence?

    Allant 9.9S issues and questions

Just ask them to do a rollout of your tire, see what the circumference is, and then input that into the Bosch firmware (though they might only be able to get somewhat close because of the +/-5% thing).

    Allant 9.9S issues and questions

The COBI display is just relaying what's programmed into the system firmware. Doesn't matter what display you have.

    Allant 9.9S issues and questions

Only a dealer can change the wheel circumference on a Bosch system. And even then, they can only adjust +/-5%.

I'm not trying to invalidate your experience my dude.

    Allant Battery

When a distracted rider hits someone or something they are not carrying 6,000lb of metal with them. So I disagree with your statement on that. But distracted is distracted so your points are valid. Still, people want lots of new features. You gotta keep up with innovation or else it's kinda ho...

    Allant Battery

I've gotten nearly 70 miles of range on my Domane+ (last year's) with 500Wh battery. I did a really hilly, punchy gravel ride. I rode maybe 75% Eco, 20% Tour, and 5% Turbo (at the end because I was super tired :P).

    2020 Domane+ LT 9 (Fazua drive system)

I see there is a less expensive version too. It's like $7k. Still $$$ but much different than $12k.

Does switching cassettes affect motor engagement?

Same thing...you can take it to a dealer and they program the gearing in I believe. But you don't have to do any of that....I just don't know what the true effects are.

Does switching cassettes affect motor engagement?

Yes they can update the gearing in the firmware.

Trek Allaint 7+ Available in USA Soon With quill Stem Option

It's not a quill stem per se (like the older kind that slides up and down) but it's an adjustable angle stem and you can change the spacers underneath (like a regular stem) to make it even taller.

TREK Domane+ 2019, thoughts, price, issue?

It's mainly to get roadies into the eBike market. There are a LOT of them who cringe at the size of eBikes for one reason or another.

TREK Domane+ 2019, thoughts, price, issue?

Weight and handling and "lightweight" road bike aesthetics matter more to some people.

TREK Domane+ 2019, thoughts, price, issue?

You can go pretty far on it, if you're willing to work (that's the point of it). Like, 60 miles on lowest assist, maybe 30-40 on max assist. Because it's not high-speed nor high power, you spend more time using your own legs, especially on gradual downhills where you're faster than the assist...

TREK Domane+ 2019, thoughts, price, issue?

Okay, so it seems you really just hate the concept of a lower-powered system. I think that's the root of your anger 😂 and not the made-in-China stuff. Don't worry, Trek will have both Fazua and Bosch so everyone can be happy (or would you prefer we are all super angry?).

TREK Domane+ 2019, thoughts, price, issue?

Regarding the Cruise motor, it's the Performance Cruise, which is like a Performance Speed motor but limited to 25kph. And many countries in the EU (let's say EU generally speaking) do have speed limits if you're not certifying the eBike as a moped. Uncertified it can go up to 25kph, but with...

TREK Domane+ 2019, thoughts, price, issue?

Fazua is made in Germany dude...nothing Chinese about it. And it's not supposed to be a brute of a system.

TREK Domane+ 2019, thoughts, price, issue?

Which country did you buy it in? Also how fast are you pedaling when it applies "brakes? The Bosch system can only support up to a certain pedaling RPM before it will limit output. A lot of eBike motors are like this. And what do you mean by over revs? The torque sensing should be pretty...
