    Water resistance

I have about 45miles in the rain no issues yet. Thanks for the advise on covering the display. I have been wrapping the battery door while I have the battery inside (bike parked outside in the rain at work) with a plastic wrap to keep the compartment dry...it doesn't latch without the battery...

A good rap on the beak helps people be better humans. It might not stop him from saying it again...but he might flinch as he said it!

Turbo 2015 base model Battery at 98%

Maybe apples and oranges?? My Stromer battery is the same - 98% after a full charge. It has been consistent so I figure - no big deal.

Anyone here joined the National Bike Challenge?

Yes map my ride will sync. I think the update currently only updated once per day. It seems as though it happens around midnight central time. You have to establish the 'account' connection with your national bike challenge account. Sure you already knew that.:D

    Bofeili e-bike crank replacement

Yes you can replace the crank arm. You can also replace the crank spindle. @Optibike_Austen has parts and may be willing to make the repair for you. He did similar work for me. Great customer service.

Santa showed up at my house!

I know nothing about Front fork shocks...I do like the one on my Optibike - Fox Talas but wow are they expensive. Are they really that much better? On another note my feet kept (slick bottom leathers- work shoes) slipping off the pedals in the rain. I went to the local bike shop and the kid...

Santa showed up at my house!

I think the problem is keeping the front tire on the ground...no really worried about the hand and arm impact...so I think the front shock is the better solution??? I am going to have the wife drive beside me and check the speedo. My gut tells me it is reading faster than actual speed. I was...

Santa showed up at my house!

Well I headed out this am with a fresh battery and a smile on my face to meet a friend for breakfast (12.5 mile ride). 1.6 miles in I hit a staple and got a flat. My wife came to the rescue and hauled me in. The point to all this??? Changing a flat on the back of the ST1 Platinum is not so...

First LBS in Wichita KS to start stocking Ebikes as of last month. Shimono Steps in Trek bikes. I saw them today. Owner said he has sold 7 already. I will get back down and take one for a test ride. Nice to see Walmart picking up a line...just wish it was a better quality Ebike.
