    Sensor for Bicycle Traffic Lights

In my area (Seattle) I am seeing traffic lights specifically for bicycles. But until recently, I did not know how they activated. When I was stopped on a bike lane before an intersection, I saw an embedded diamond shape on the path. This is a sensor for us, like the large round shape that is...

    Shocking Experience

I went along the BPA trail in Federal Way WA yesterday. Short trip, but fun weaving back and forth, up and down along the high tension wire corridor. But, as I approached the high grounds and could hear the buzz from the wires, I got a tingle every time I touched the brake levers. Is this common...

I cut out pieces from an old smartphone cover, & drilled holes in the pieces to match the 1 bolt and 2 screws that directly attached the fender to the...

A Different Way to Place a Bike Bell I wanted to activate my bell with my left hand, so I mounted it upside down on the handlebar. Note that I also re-arranged the position of the brake handle and controller switch. I can use my left index finger to pull the bell ringer and still have the last...

Any pointers loading XP into back of SUV

I got the 40gal tote Lowes brand. It has the widest inside width (better than 19") of all the totes I measured; it has wheels and a nice big carry handle. I will need to add padding to the sharp side edges so I can grab them when lifting. As you can see, it fits easily into my Honda Fit.

What power draw does this light have compared to the stock light? I wouldn’t want a significant reduction in range.
