  • I have listened to videos and read a lot of postings. Thanks for all the responses. I like to sit up tall on a bicycle because of my back. Are all handlebars adjustable? That's probably a stupid question but I just don't know much about bikes. I'm interested in the Giant LaFree but I want to know in general. Will I have to replace handlebars usually to sit up tall?

I know someone who was the same and put new, more upright handlebars on his Explore. In his case, all cables still fit, but that's something that may have to be dealt with.
It's normally not a big deal.

Just Picked up 2 Trek Allant 7's for my wife and I. The LBD switched out the stems to adjustable models. That raised me 40 degrees into a really decent sitting position. Then full changed the handlebar accouterments for my "left Handed" wife. If I had ordered the Rad that I was originally looking at, I would have never been able to remodel. The new stem has 10 settings and did not require any re-cabling.
