My 1.5kw Bafang midrive came with a gear change power disconnect, none of these bikes are bothering, its up to you to back off.
Its not a problem for me, but its never mentioned in any of the reviews

I finally got my hands on my Velduro Phantom (gravel bike), which I ordered WAY back in February. The Phantom has the M2 motor, not the more powerful M2S, which is okay by me because if there's one thing this bike doesn't need it's more power.
I ordered just the frame, motor, and battery and had the bike built with parts I had and new parts. I used a set of 50mm deep wheels I had along with a pair of 45mm gravel tires and a wireless SRAM drivetrain, Hope brakes, and a KOGA flat handlebar. I also have a Redshift suspension seat post and just installed an Aereo Spider rack (not shown).
I love this bike!!
