There is a 70% rating that this year will be a historic El Niño, event due to climate change. There will be flooding in the western US, Mexico, and Canada. With more impacts globally. We are still three months ahead of it at this point, How will it impact your riding and and life to be in heavy rains for three months?

I have two months left in my cycling season. November is set aside for hunting, and December through March is reserved for Winter. I dont ride in the sow.

Looked back over my vids earlier in the year, the whole country was a mud pit, it rained non stop for 4 months.

Then 50 year heatwave.

Now..El Nino's coming..
And the Met Office says the UK weather is likely to be affected, with the growing chance that autumn and early winter will be wet and stormy.

Wet and stormy in the winter eh.

But yes, good luck out there, though you really need some rain in Lake Mead or Pedal will soon be washing his bike with beer.

Fortunately in Maine this will mostly be a winter event and I don't ride in the winter. I also never ride in the rain period.

You really know you are alive when riding in hail. I ride every day of the year. Sometimes I will watch the storm cells and look for a gap.

Although we have actually received a wee bit of what used to be a great thing in the monsoon season here in AZ, I have a strong feeling that the fall and winter will be fairly warm and dry here.
