Turbo Vado SL 2 6.0 - turns itself on when off and unattended

I think we're going off topic guys. The real issue is that the Vado SL2 6 (CF) is randomly switching itself on. THIS IS NOT NORMAl.
The motor noise is another issue - maybe. Mine is much quieter than my previous SL4.

Since we're still talking about noise levels - my SL2 motor is also much quieter than my version one motor.

Well, I for one miss that SL 1 motor noise!

Mine's been down for a week for want of an acceptable 38 mm gravel tire to replace my damaged rear Pathfinder. (Very few 38s made now, and all come with unwelcome trade-offs.)

Dropped off the bike today. The mechanic offered to swap the TCU while I waited. While waiting I talked to the store owner about my noise complaint - he suggested I try another SL2 on the floor. I did and it was a lot quieter. I played him a recording of my bike’s noise I made by attaching my phone to the bottle holder. He tried the new bike then said he would order a new motor for me.
