Hi all, So nearly a year in & enjoying my turbo Vado SL 5.0.
Spring now & looking to get some miles in .
Looking at a Ortlieb Ultimate handlebar bag but I’m sure I would need to re mount the front light: is this doable do you know? Any advice welcome?
Cheers

Welcome aboard! This issue has been discussed in many posts, some with good solution photos. But not sure how you'd use the forum search function to find them. Some of the better solutions involved GoPro mounts.

This might help: One member who solved the problem is @Rás Cnoic . Using advanced search, you could try searching his posts for "handlebar bag" or "GoPro".

I also ride an SL 1 5.0. Absolutely love it.

We'd love to see your bike and the places you ride. My 3 favorite forum threads are the ones for sharing ride photos.

Cheers! Will do. Yep also love the TV 5 , it’s a lot lighter than the 2.0 also. Happy miles!!
@Rás Cnoic has replied & has been super helpful too! This is a great community you all got going !!

Your post links to a Vado SL (2) 6 but you mention it's a 5.0. We used to be able to say I have a Creo or Vado SL and the features were common but now we need to be a little more specific with models. In either case it's possible to relocate the lights. Keep that in mind as you search the older posts, the Vado SL 2 headlight is designed to be mounted upright but the Vado SL 1 headlight is an OEM version designed to be mounted upside down. The Vado SL 2 uses the H3 Mastermind TCU that allows more power for the light so you also have a larger selection of lights. Read through the support site for more information. Thjis link covers all of current Turbo bikes.

Mhacha has a Vado SL 5.0 Gen 1. Ras Cnoic has successfully relocated the light taking into account the lamp orientation, so I'm sure he gave the OP a good advice :)

Cheers, yes I had read that about the light being fitted upside down. I fitted the stock lezynne light on my TV SL 5 gen 1 when I got it so i better check it is as it should be ( I guess with the writing upside down?) many thanks!
