Pressing Walk and Up works! Phew...

Went for a ride to test my bike after stupidly updating the firmware with the Speedbox 2 installed... Now I can't figure out how to enable the Speedbox as previously it was just pressing the walk assist button to toggle it on and off. Have messaged the Speedbox team to ask, will post here with...

I tried it, needed to take the battery off and put in back on. It updated the firmware but now when I press the walk assist button to switch the Speedbox 2 on/off the speed display doesn't change from 25 to 99 like previously. There's a new bar graph-like thing in the middle of the display...

Has anyone tried the firmware update with a Speedbox 2 fitted?

Clearance maybe an issue with the Super Moto X. Perhaps more at the rear. Would be worth a wander down to Dyson and see if you can find one on a bike there and measure the profile at the widest point. Rim width will affect the measurement but it should give you some idea.

See the Quick-E+ thread, have just fitted a suspension fork to mine, after fitting a Suntour suspension seat post. Can be done, but it's a little fiddly and the list of suitable forks is a short one.

Hi @Alan111S would you be able to take a screenshot from Ride Control showing your software version? My firmware was supposedly updated during a recent dealer visit but in Ride Control the software version for the bike still starts with 2018... Edit: seems a previous post of yours explains...

Did some work on the bike today and removed the Speedbox 2. I think I found the problem with my speed sensor and the assistance deciding to stop working the other day!

Interesting! Will be curious to hear how you go with it. I use carbon bars and seatpost on my also carbon road bike. Makes a big difference to ride comfort.

My bike is showing errors on motor, battery and screen when scanned with the Giant phone app. So to be safe I'm taking the Speedbox 2 out for its dealer visit.
