Do You Wear A Cap Underneath Your Bicycle Helmet?

I will have to check them out.

Do You Wear A Cap Underneath Your Bicycle Helmet?

I was looking at the Cat-Ears but haven't bought them yet. I think I couldn't decide which ones I wanted. Until lately I never used earbuds, but I now use SIRIUS Radio to try and extend the distance on my daily "exercise" related rides (mostly local streets). I do have a mirror and a Garmin...

Do You Wear A Cap Underneath Your Bicycle Helmet?

At the risk of looking like an idiot, I wear earmuffs, even when the temp is in the 70s. They hold my earbuds in place and keep the wind noise down. I do get weird looks when I take my helmet off......

    Cracked Allant rear rim

I had a Specialized issue out of warranty (2 yr warranty, screen delamination) and found a page under support referencing post warranty cost support for years 3, 4 & 5. LBS was not aware but after I pointed it out I was able to get 50% off on the replacement part/install. Not sure if Trek has...

    Specialized App not recording ride

For what it's worth, I have reinstalled the app on a Galaxy S25 Ultra (Tero) and Galaxy S22 (wife's Como) a couple of times and never lost any data, including ride history, etc. We both have ride.specialized.com accounts so probably that is related.

Turbo Vado SL 4.0 Tick-Tock Noise

Probably a totally useless piece of info but I had a similar problem on my old Specialized Pitch 650B. Took me forever to find it but it turned out to be the pedal bearings.

    Turbo Vado 3

The rear extension on my front fender does get caught frequently when on trails but has yet to break (disclosure - I do not ride real trails often). The most annoying thing about the fenders is how easily they pick up gravel.....but I would rather be dry.

    Turbo Vado 3

When Specialized originally came out with those fenders they made a big deal of that front piece having channels to help direct the water away better. They are on both our Tero and Como fenders (bought in 2022).

    Turbo Vado 3

The front rack is an MIK compatible rack and mounts the same as on my wife's Como. The headlight is removable from the rack. They have the manual posted on the site and it looks like light can be in the stem, on the fender, or on the rack. I am curious how the digital lock on the rear wheel...

Garmin RearVue 820 Radar Light impressions

I use an RTL515 which I display on my Specialized Tero TCD. I occassionally get an error but it goes away on its own with out any intervention on my part. I never knew what caused it so this was very useful information to me as I am assuming it is the interference mentioned. Does anyone have...

Riders and lawmakers must understand the actual regulations and intent....

Which I had seen this earlier. Public hearing was/is scheduled for today but Concord, NH is a little far. I really thought NH was one of the safe spaces for common sense.

    What happened to good manners

I guess I would argue that the whole purpose of a product/activity and/or hobby related forum is to get and give advice/help to people with similar interests.

    Charger timer?

Maybe totally useless info but the Specialized app lets you set the charge to 80%. Every 10 times it charges to 100%. Initially I thought the selection of an 80% limit was kind of arbitrary, but my new Samsung Galaxy Ultra also has the ability to limit the charge to 80%. Not sure why they think...

help identifying Bike Seat and Seatpost Clamp

It looks similar to a standard 7/8" clamp but where it attaches looks like it is not the normal seat rail but a bar instead and requires the 2 outside plates to be different (1 plate and one washer). I showed to the LBS and he kind of laughed. I noticed the VELO SD Saddle on Amazon has a similar...

I don't know the proper name??

Conventional and inverted. On inverted forks, the stanchion (tube) is on the bottom. Not sure if this is correct "bicycle" terminology.
