My motor was replaced under warranty at 9600 miles as I was under 2 years since purchase new.

I had the Rock Shox installed after reading this. I had 9700 miles on my bike and front end. I have about 200 plus miles on this set up and I am pleased with the ride. Thank you for all the info you and others reported.

I had 9500 on my motor before it acted up and was replaced.

Once the factory has the serial number of the bike they should be able to sell you are working key. I would sincerely hope so.

Just FYI, I bought an IZIP after Stromer would not provide warranty support because I was not the original owner. I bought my Stromer with 60 miles on it. Battery died at 75 miles. Finally got it resolved but they asserted they do not warranty beyond original purchaser.
