Maybe something is bent and not lining up properly. I have had three and they all worked fine. I had to bend some parts so components would line up properly. Look straight on from behind the bike to see if all looks lined up and straight and nothing looks twisted.

I didn't mean to start something it was just food for thought. Seat posts and the frames are pretty much designed to take the weight in line with the post. Bicycle frames and seat-posts carrying strength vary a lot. If you have a steel frame and seatpost there is probably no way you can break them.

Great idea and I am sure it works well but I would be a bit concerned about the leverage of sitting that far to the back of the seat post center and that it may over stress and bend or break the post or worse yet the bike frame, especially if used by a heavy rider operating on rough surface...
