    It takes a lot of wasted energy to wear out break pads that quickly. Maybe you need a re-gen system. Try coasting more.

    DA! Hey your favorite brand e-bike and the motors with belts, bearing and sprags have needed their share of repairs of which the ordinary person cannot even do.

    Not quite related but whenever I am changing circuit board or messing with any electrical wiring I always take pictures so I can backup to the original wire placements. My memory is good but it is short. The shortest pencile is better than the longest memory.
