Mine fit (wasn't the TM1), not sure what the LBS uses. My guess is that the boys on the back just shortened the time when you'd need to tighten the spokes. Its a known issue on the wagons - the spokes just get loose periodically.
Agreed. The first time I tried tightening my own spokes, I broke one. I still do a little tightening now and then, but its part of my spring tune-up to have the LBS true the wheels.
I think a spoke wrench would work best, but not sure if that means a regular wrench wouldn't work. I use this one: https://www.amazon.com/Avenir-94-27-001-Round-Spoke-Wrench/dp/B00165U0T4
Class 3 ebike (28mph) with 495 miles on it. Battery holds its charge well, and there are no cosmetic, mechanical or electrical issues to speak of. Very fun to ride, but the 19" frame is just a little too big for me, so it's time to get something more suitable.
Comes with rack, fenders...
@Routb3d sorry to hear that! Rad informed that there is no fuse in my battery, and they declared the battery dead. 99% of the time I was good about bringing in the battery in cold weather, but didn't during our recent cold/snow snap here in Seattle. I fear I may have shortened the life on it...
There is one bar of charge showing when the bike is on, and it does provide power, but cuts out when stressed on a hill. So, it's not dead, but nearly. Unfortunately I don't have diagnostic tools to get a voltage reading. We'll see what Rad says - perhaps I'll end up investing in some tools...
In my previous post I said I ordered some from Amazon. I did, but they were not cut/threaded, so still had to find someone who could do that. Since then, I ordered spokes from sunnyspokes as well - they work great! Also, since then in speaking with Rad, they did offer to give me a few cut...
Hi, I know this is an old thread, but I'm having similar fuse issues. My 2016 RadWagon battery is dead and won't charge. Rad missed the part about it being a 2016 model, and sent me to their page for how to change the fuse on a 2018 model. Mine is different, of course. I did find a rubber plug...
Impressive! I have about half that mileage after 1 year. I wimped out and took a few months off during winter due to cold/rain/etc. Swapped out the Kendas for Schwalbe Marathon Plus, and very happy with them. 1700 miles, no flats and rarely need to inflate.
I had 3 flats with stock Kenda tires within the first 500 miles. Switched to Marathon Plus, and after 1,100 miles on them, nary a flat. I don't notice the weight, and they roll better than the Kenda did.
