    I got a big surprize....

If you want to practice in advance for the TSA check just go to your local courthouse and watch people get sentenced. I dread going to the court house because your'e supposed to dress respectfully, yet your belt will set off the detector making you have to take it off! Same rules with liquids as...

    I got a big surprize....

Thank you for your service. Only thing I can think of is, are Real I.D.s required for ALL domestic flights now? Be sure to have all those surprise ducks in a row before trying to board. I have a cousin who flies for FedEx and I've used the free "friends and family" jump seats a few times in the...

    Folding e-bike for small airplane

Carrying a passenger can complicate the search. I rode my wife on the back of the XP3.0 we had and the ebike did fine but I couldn't pedal with her on the back, as I kicked her in the knees. The XP4 you mention has a much easier to remove battery (saving a few pounds when manhandling). Only...

    be very afraid!

I work in a industry manufacturing mostly 2-stroke power tools. I work in Environmental Engineering, making sure our products comply with strict emissions standards. We heard about Trump now dropping the emission mandates but we, as a company, will not go backwards in manufacturing standards...

    The transition

Chargeride, I know where the electricity can come from! Remember those old cars that you had to manually crank the motor from the front to start? I had a friend who had a Model T, that crank was a thing of nightmares! Anyways, bring that crank back. Use it to charge the motor!

    New bike recommendation

But what if the OP IS a bag-snatcher? Usually you steal and use a Yamaha T-Max or a Vespa GTS scooter, but I think a fast ebike would be even better depending on environment! But seriously, just buy something known with quality behind it. I've purchased my fair share of junk. How any miles did...

    Lectric Trike reboxing

Let us know the outcome. Luckily I've never had to return a DTC ebike. Why the reason for return may I ask?

    Do you ride with someone?

I've used a tow strap (Chase Harper brand) once in all my years of 2 wheel ownership. Once was enough for me. If the bike breaks down with the wife and I, and its to far to walk home and grab the truck, we just leave the ebike/scooter/motorcycle and call a cab. Go back and pick it up later. I...

    Choosing the best conversion kit

Sometimes you can find a used older model ebike for cheap. Someone upgrades a Lectric XP to the current model, sells old one cheap, for example. You might be able to find a decent used kit but that (around my area) seems harder. Good luck in your search.

    Ebike I want to pedal

That new TREK FX is nice on paper, so much so I want to check it out in person. I have a great TREK dealer in my area. Finally, a mainstream manufacturer that's using the evil "T" word on their ebikes!

    Handel bar grips

Lock-on style, like mentioned above, are the best option. But should you want regular style grips to stay put I use either Aqua Net or spray point. Spray point works best. Spray inside the grip before sliding on and have a rag ready!

    Tire Liners

I run Mr. Tuffy liners in all my ebikes. First trick, get the correct width for the tire your installing them in. Second, inflate the tube just enough to hand center the liner. Some on the wider Tuffy liners have a adhesive peel strip to stick them to the center of the tire. I've never used the...

    XP Lite 2.0 gearing

I have a RadRunner 2, also a single speed. I use it as a moped most of the time, bombing around at 20mph. When I want to pedal, be it for exercise or conserve battery, I just drop the PAS down to 2. It'll (RadRunner 2) ghost pedal at 20mph, but will let you exercise at PAS 3 and lower. And yes...

Nutcase helmets at Ollie's for $9.99?

I've been to 2 other Ollie's and both of them had zero nutcase helmets. The last Ollie's to check is across the water (Norfolk to Hampton) so I'm trying to find another reason to brave tunnel traffic, not just for closeout helmets.
