Jeremy is 100% on this. Replacing that front chainring on a 1X drive is inexpensive, easy and highly effective regardless of whether you are seeking more speed or better climbing… it just depends on which way you’re going, and understanding that it will effect the other end of the range.

Good Lord, what a gorgeous route! But what in the world is a Beeftub? From those pictures, it has something to do with not being flat😎 Love seeing that Road E still going. I had my Toughroad for six years and it’s still going strong under my son‘s command now, and the Stance I bought last Fall...

Going from a 46 to a 40 on my Creo completely changed its climbing personality. It’s a low cost, simple change that should be a big win for your wife. 38, 40, 42 would all be viable choices, I’d think.

That’s a very inviting logging path! Love that kind of riding.

Still at it, just not a lot to photograph till the trees get green again. Saratoga Battlefield this morning on a 60 degree sunny day, heavy rain coming for the next several days and a good 20 degree temp drop.

What assist levels do you usually use on e-road bikes?

Eco or unpowered on the Creo. Makes for great range!

Yup, that’s it. My local shop had that thing on the floor for two years and every time I came in for whatever else I was doing, there it was looking at me. When Giant dropped the price all the way down to $2460 last Fall, I gave up and bought it right away as a great alternate to my Creo. Rode...

I pretty much knew I was going to buy that bike the moment it hit the shop. Color really jumps out, and I was already a big Giant ebike fan after six years with my Toughroad, now in the custody of my son. I’m working on getting it a little dirty, but it sure looks great clean! The power it puts...

Nothing blooming around here, but we got to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. This is part of the Erie Canal before they refill it after the winter finally ends over the next couple of weeks. Nice day for a ride. Dave from Vancouver can see that I have carefully followed his stuff transporting ideas for a...

Hey Chazmo I’ve heard a little about this trail but take it that it’s a bit of a work in progress… where is this section and does it look like that for any appreciable distance? Looks like it might rate a ride over from the Saratoga area some fine day.

My Wife Just Bought A XS Creo 2

The original buttons on the top tube should still change assist also, but I’ve almost never used them since installing the remotes on my 1st gen Creo. Congrats on all these new Creos showing up!

    New e-biker from Alberta

Welcome indeed. We seem to be missing a couple of highly regarded Albertans of late, so maybe you can pick up the slack! Hopefully this condition will correct itself at some point though.
